The problem is that did happen under a Labour government, quite often between 1997-2007 IIRC

Starmer's biggest problem...one of Starmer's biggest problems is he unwittingly creates self-fulfilling prophecies, so if he's dumb enough to read McSweeney's script saying the next election will be Labour vs Reform he's going to make that happen because he talked them up as the main rival for something that won't happen for 3-4 years - which also suggests he and his team learned zero lessons from the Democrats managing to piss away last year's election

Labour doesn't set the agenda, the press do.
Well, it's more social media now and I'm sure you've noticed some changes since the election.
Plenty of people pushing bullshit, just glad to have avoided being sent to the frontline...

Which makes it Labour's job to push back against it, which they aren't doing

Almost looks as if they thought the press barons would go easy on them once they got into power, which shows remarkable naivete

They can't push back on it. They just have to do things.
Pushing back doesn't work. They just ignore it or spin it into more bullshit.

Sums up the world that a union-sinking scab who refused to work with people if he wasn't the one booked to go over and is the reason a sex criminal had a monopoly on the wrestling business for decades would be an icon for someone like Charlie Kirk...

Thanks to the utter stupidity which Starmer could've left by the wayside that is the Online Safety Act, Pornhub has introduced mandatory age verification for its users

In completely unrelated news, here is a record of people searching the term VPN

Captain Pantshitter, July 18: If we have a smart president, you're never going to let the dollar slide. If you have a dummy, that could happen.

Captain Kiddyfiddler, July 25: A weak dollar makes you a hell of a lot more money. It doesn't sound good, but you make a hell of a lot more money with a weaker dollar than with a strong dollar
