The Culture Wars leader will be fuming! I read something earlier today about how she got British citizenship that I expect will be repeated in the coming months. Both of her parents are Nigerian and her mother travelled to London to give birth to her specifically to get her the passport. They then returned home and lived in both Nigeria and America. Thatcher's government introduced the British Nationality Act 1981 a year later which would've meant that she wasn't British. That all seems rather at odds with her stances on virtually anything to do with immigration. Can't say that I'm surprised.
