You've obviously picked up something that I didn't, cos from what I saw (apart from the misreporting by the BBCs mini-Kuntsberg Mason) the trip has gone well for Starmer. Where has he shown himself to be untrustworthy?

When he said that Biden was "In good form", which proved to be untrue about three hours after he said it

Macron used those exact same words last night too, which makes it all the more suspect

I think you’ll find it should be: “I met the Dalai Lama and he’s not the full moon.”
    Sorry, what was that again?

    That's just not true, though.
Biden could've been fine earlier in the day and then made mistakes later.
This is like saying someone couldn't play well in the first half if they were **** in the second.

Two people using the exact same phrasing at the exact same time does not pass the smell test

Do you have a link to Macron saying it or being reported to have said it?
I haven't seen anything that he said that was close to it and it's all in French.

That doesn't say that Macron used those words.

"French President Emmanuel Macron said Mr Biden was "in charge" and "clear on the issues he knows well", while UK PM Sir Keir Starmer said he was "on good form"."
Starmer said them. Macron did not.

""We went through a huge number of issues at pace...absolutely across all the detail...and he's shown incredible leadership"
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/videos/cxw2k33l89do

Tempted to see what some of the other people there were saying, to see how uncannily they all seem to make the same points in the same order, given quotes attributed to Olaf Scholz follow the same pattern

    Not Orban, obviously...

So he didn't say what you claimed he said earlier, then?

They weren't 'the same' and it is likely that similar phrases will be used by different leaders.
I think that your evisceral hatred of Starmer is clouding your judgement. There will no doubt be many genuine lines of attack on him over the coming months and years, but this seems an odd hill to die on.

I'd say following a script saying Biden was with it a couple of hours before "Vice President Putin" is a particularly odd hill to die on

Which has certainly been Macron's forte in recent weeks

Why hasn't Trump been told to see the nut doctor? Either one!

    He did

He also paid him a lot to say he was a "stable genius"

Money well spent judging by his comments about how he's running against Obama at this election...

Interesting how the press were remarkably quick to jump on Kyle Clifford's cousin being in prison for murder, using that particularly Mailian kind of logic that he got a nasty dose of criminal because his cousin coughed on him one time - yet seem oddly silent about the bloke who planned to kidnap and murder Holly Willoughby being the nephew of far-right grifter (and serial loser in libel court) Andy Plumb

    Funny that...

James McMurdock was recently elected as the MP for South Basildon and East Thurrock.
He ran for Reform UK PLC etc and beat Labour's Jack Ferguson by 98 votes.
Turns out that he's got a conviction for assaulting his ex and spent some time in jail.
He then went on to work for Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers. Might be worse.

Might have been useful if this had come out before the **** got elected, eh?
It's also strangely absent from his Wikipedia entry as I write this.
