Not even in office yet and already as crooked as the Tories

And on the subject of being indistinguishable from Tories, here's Rachel Reeves once again looking for the nearest fridge when asked a question

Thats a bit of a stretch, mate and you kind of kill your own argument: She is not an MP (yet) and appears in this memo to be commenting on a subject that she clearly knows a lot about. She doesn't mention Portland and rightly so as it's clearly a political commentary.
Whether or not anyone with links to lobbying companies should be allowed to be members of or candidates for Labour is another matter altogether of course. :emoticon-0148-yes:

She's also a water privatisation lobbyist who, based on Starmer's Akehurst's own logic, should be deselected

Mercer is a really nasty pos, but he's also particularly stupid. Defames his opponent to try and discredit him by doubting his service record. He is a an ex-soldier himself so would have contacts to verify the details and as Government minister would have likely had the clearance to identify whether his opponent was previously on Special Forces. Looks like he did neither - **** around and Find out! Hopefully a very public apology and the confirmed death of his political career will be the headline. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

A police superintendent has had to resign for lying about being in the Navy

Penny Mordaunt must be bricking it

Not a Superintendent, he was a Chief Constable! ****ing incredible that a) he thought he could get away with it for so long and b) that he got away with it for so long.
Only surprised that he didn't get prosecuted for Fraud (Obtaining a Pecuniary Advantage) because putting those false facts in his CV were sure to have influenced his promotion chances.
