I don't necessarily disagree with a decision to take multinational military action against Houti forces in Yemen. I do however expect UK Gov to bring the matter before the HoC before taking action by dropping bombs in Foreign territory. Approval would likely still be granted, but Sunak has no mandate to make this decision unilaterally. To act like this smacks of electioneering!

They supposedly attacked a US Navy vessel, so retaliation is inevitable. If the strikes were on government forces, then I'd agree about consulting parliament. I'm less bothered about some terrorist pirates getting slapped after lots of warnings, though.
I'm inclined to agree, but it's still UK forces dropping bombs on another sovereign country. These things have repercussions regardless of the justification. And I do believe that Sunak will milk this (and his visit to Ukraine) in a desperate attempt to garner some war leader credibility. (Although I also think he'll have as many meetings with Zelensky as possible - he's the only world leader shorter than him!!
