The Israeli Government is reaping revenge on Ireland - specifically those Irish citizens trapped in Gaza, by refusing to allow them passage out - for having the temerity to criticise politically and in the media their criminal response in the region and for rightly calling for the Israeli Ambassador in Dublin to be sent packing for her extremist rhetoric and outspoken abuse of this country. Unfortunately, whilst the Irish Government itself has been relatively strong to criticise Israel for the manner of it's response and calls to obey Humanitarian Law, they have failed to dismiss the Diplomat. Their argument is that it is better to maintain diplomatuc channels, one which fails to hold water. There will still be governmental communication in Israel, regardless of one extreme Zionist bigot being expelled from her post in Europe. In fact, that dismissal may actually assist the Peace process.
