There are currently 14 Members and I doubt it was much different back then. So it's comparing someone who had a minority say on how to interpret the law with the leader of a government who had the power to change the law for the last 10 years.
It's great that ppl really hate Richard Madeley. He's spent the whole morning trying to skew the narrative against the junior doctors striking, and during that time their own poll in support of the strikes went up to 74% His attempts were so obvious I think he turned the public against him lol. He really is a shallow, fake slug trying to emulate Piers.
He's one of the people who, if I see their name trending on Twitter, I can guess it's because he's auditioning for GesticulatingBaboon News again Ditto Jeremy Vine
I couldn't see it without clicking, so I'll repost the image itself here: please log in to view this image Are serving military personnel allowed to do this? Isn't it against their code of conduct?
Wearing the uniform while performing and promoting a political party seems very off, to me. It's rather old, but this seems to confirm my suspicions: https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/Edw8and1Geo6/1/6 I expect that they've either been given an exemption or nobody's said anything. Allowing a Secretary of State to get involved may have appeared appropriate in the past. Now that we've fallen as low as Slaverman? Not so much.
Seldom watch BBC News, but just caught the evening bulletin. All the slant on the Jr. Drs strike was critical of them and the risk they are causing patients. Not a mention of a Government being the real cause of the ongoing disruption! That was followed up by a report on the decline of the UK economy. One of three key reasons was given as loss of trade - but Brexit not mentioned! The UK public are quite happily the proverbial 'mushrooms'!
Wow! She may be a Baroness and not exactly a 'woman of the people', but this is significant. A Tory peer calling her Home Secretary a racist!
If in doubt, assume it's tied to Penny Mordaunt pretending she's Captain Birdseye when she was a Sea Cadet
