It's reasonably safe to suggest the entire band are just narky gits who hate listening to anybody else's opinion considering the story of what feels like every single notable Pink Floyd song basically goes like this - The band intend to just chuck something onto the album without much thought - The producer says there's something to this, and pitches something - The band harrumph for ages - The producer pushes it again - The band finally concede and rework the song - The song goes on to make them a ****load of money - The band begrudgingly consider that maybe they could possibly give the producer some credit if they are feeling generous The most obvious example of this is Another Brick in the Wall, which was initially a 90 second filler loop until the producer told them they had a hook there and could do a lot more with it - and practically needed a bulldozer to get them to budge
You can probably take Wright and Mason out of the equation. They are (were in Wright's case) quite reasonable, down to earth types. Or as down to earth as you can be as Multimillionaires...

The mini-riots in Liverpool last night are the start. The Government's fermentation of racial hatred has played into the hands of the ignorant and the far right extremists.
