Remember when Trump said only mobsters plead the Fifth?

He pleaded it 400 times during questioning on the matter

If Kwarteng survives this it will be a miracle - even in the most incompetent, corrupt Government in living memory! <doh>

Can't be bothered to read the whole story about The Orange One's latest criminal escapade.

From what I've browsed, he grossly exaggerated the value of multiple assets across the globe (including an assumption that 2500 would want to live in Aberdeen) for tax purposes.

I'm either stupid or tired (most probably both), but wouldn't doing that have the opposite affect? Isn't it better to grossly underexaggerate asset value in order to scrimp on tax?

    Am I missing something?

Some of your explanation includes words of more than two syllables....so may be a bit tricky for him.

He needed to inflate the value of his assets so he could borrow money to keep his business afloat. He was simultaneously claiming that he had no profits for tax purposes

So when did the "politicians" know this information that they released when the Queen died?
Only asking because i am interested how long you think they would have waited for her to die before releasing it.

They always have quite a lot of stuff that is in the queue to be released depending on circumstances.

So how long was this "in the queue"?
I am always open to being educated by those in the know.

One of the defining points of a queue is that the participants will have joined it at different times. It is also not a first in, first out sort of queue so some things will stay in it longer than others. That is the extent of my knowledge on this issue.
