I was just interested to know what the answer would be Of course if bad news is buried you can't possibly know what it is, pushing that further you then have to ask if it exists outside of your head
Well from the original example, you can know what it is. The purpose being that it won't be reported with the same scrutiny as news coverage will be heavily focused elsewhere, coupled with the fact that the public will be distracted from the work of the government.
I still don't think Diego understands what burying bad news actually means or involves. I think he thinks it's not disclosed. Ffs
When nobody was paying attention This is what "burying bad news" means, and has meant that since Tuesday 11th September 2001
Wow I know full well what it is/means which is why i take the piss. It was buried but everyone knows about it because the information was freely available, they just put it in large print on the first page of the rag i read
On the day the queen died and so the world was looking elsewhere. Just stop. Your every post on this is making you look more and more stupid in front of everyone ffs
Here is a list of people who weren't The BBC ITN Sky News Gazelle Buttcrack News TalkbollocksTV The Times The Torygraph The Daily Wail The DIANAAAAAAAAAAAA Murdoch's hate Comic Metro Evening Standard So, who do you think has the largest reach: any one of those channels and/or newspapers, or me posting on this thread? Dime bar...?
You claim to know "full well" what it means. Then in the very next paragraph show you don't. And you still don't get it
I wouldn't think you do, not sure about the place you got the info from though. When you say they didn't mention it do you mean front page or at all?
