£5.8m signing fee and £2.7m in wages on top is Premier League level, FFS.
Worked from Switzerland, too. ****ing ludicrous.

I grew up in the same conditions , frost on the inside of the bedroom windows, getting dressed in front of the coal fire and bathing in a room with an electric fire next to the bath , what did it teach me , I would not let my kids grow up like that and I would not like it again sixty years later , I'm sick of these " it did me no harm " brigade

I grew up in those conditions in the 60-70's. Hated every minute.

And these nostalgic highs so lauded by the rabid, desperate Tories...would they not happen to be in the same early 70's that they were so concerned about Corbyn taking them back to?

It did me no harm? Tell that to all the people that died from asbestos.
Too much brain damage in that era from lead, too. Clearly still influencing the vote...

I was at the Small is Beautiful exhibition yesterday

Surprisingly, they didn't have Liz Truss' credibility exhibited next to the bloke who created a Mondrian in the eye of a needle...

I had dinner last night at my brother in laws house his best mate was there, ex banker who retired at 48 biggest Tory, pro Brexit and a love child of Thatcher and Hitler , my Mrs was dreading it ,so nobody was surprised as me when he started the evening off with how bad Brexit has been for the UK, he then followed it up with Johnson being a two faced liar and how Truss and Sunak will both be a disaster ,patels £ 120 million pound Rwanda balls up and the total cock up with the energy .
At this point I checked to see what we were both drinking because I'm sure we had both been slipped a Mickey
We still fell out later because he is a Chelsea fan but that was always going to happen and the fact that he was wearing those ****ing awful trousers ( raspberry pink) that gammon Tories seem to wear
All in all a good evening

Things have got so bad that the propaganda machine has collapsed.
The right-wing media outlets are struggling to find a way to blame someone else.
I suspect that The Last Tory Government are going to be getting it in the neck from the new one soon.
