Hopefully, she'll be tracked down and identified. If she is an employee, her extremist views (that would do credit to the Islamic State) will be doing her hospital no favours. She's in the wrong job.

Agree she should be sacked for her comments. That is if she does work for the NHS and not a BBC planted audience member that said too much off script

Balanced by the woman last night on QT who said she worked for Great Ormond Street Hospital and hoped that the children of Brexit voters contracted terminal illnesses

http://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknew...ing-brexit-speech-on-question-time/ar-AAjS8GS
As I said, man are we in a bad way.

Although having listened to what she said, she was hoping that the Brexiters faced the consequences of the downturn in research and international collaboration that she fears will be a result of Brexit. Stupid, ill thought out and offensive, and she has rightly apologised and may well face losing her job as a result. Fair punishment?

Let's hope that the social media patriots who said stuff like the below about Tina Miller face the appropriate sanctions:

"she's not even British. Hope she gets loads of hate mail!!!!"
"I hope she gets ****ing killed"
"Kill her. two behind the ear. Throw her in the garbage, dustbin, whatever" From the UKIP people's forum 2020 Facebook group
"Who's going to help me rape this bitch? Sign up here"

No apologies to date from these charmers.

On a different subject, the environment (the subject that stumps me) I see Tesla have developed roof tiles, made of glass but looking like slate, which are solar panels. You can get your roof done without those hideous panels which are denied to me anyway because I live in a conservation area, and go off grid for at least the daylight hours, possibly more.

Not available until next year and doubtless hugely expensive, but I'm interested....

Ok Col, ask me. No claim to infallibility. Or you could put a bit of effort in yourself.

Do you understand the difference between the Northern Irish and the English cases now? About a minute to look it up.

Oh yes, thank you oh condescending one.

A lot of wealthy people will be interested in these.

I think it's a great idea to get power from your own house. I even like those small wind turbines that you can get in the garden. Our country should lead the world for safe, clean energy. Come on May sort it out!

Why are you not allowed those panels because you live in a conservation area?

Completely agree. It's the initial costs that prevent most people from using these things.

Yes there needs to be some government intitive and help homeowners with start up kits.
And make sure all new house are built with this in mind.
Didn't there used to be subsidies to the manufacturers to keep prices down and grants for homeowners to install? You would certainly think new builds should come with the technology.

Anybody got a smart meter?

My brother has something like this. He got the solar panels put in years ago when there was a very good deal offered by the Government helping with the initial cost I think and earlier good credits to his electric supply bill. He has a device showing how much power he generates hourly.

I believe that the government discontinued these deals.

Stick it to the man

Colin is a banana

Straight I believe

The stays have this

General election required as they are law breakers

All leavers will be shot

And you are an own country hating hypocrite who benefits from a market economic whilst continously running it down.
Your beloved France will have an economy which is in a much worse state than that of the UK over the next few years.
You drone on about how fantastic life is in France, whilst I have friends who have had to abandon businesses in France due to ridiculous red rape hindering them at every turn.
The French intelligence service is poor as are their police.
French special forces are very good and well respected by our own, but are let down by the intelligence gatherers.

Good luck living there!

More fall out from the England/Scotland poppies controversy. The FAI have disciplinary procedures launched by FIFA for shirts they wore in a friendly match against Switzerland last March - 8 months ago. This follows comments made by a British MP Damian Collins who cited Ireland's shirts as an example of double standards by FIFA, The shirts simply said "Eire/Ireland 1916/2016" to commemorate 100 years of our existence as a nation. All this from an organisation who are under investigation by the FBI for money laundering and corruption. Absolute joke the whole lot of it.

Yes. I think he said that, and that his benefit from it had been reduced.

In Norway owners of electric cars have been given all kinds of advantages mainly financial, to promote their use. One sweetener, being allowed to drive in bus/taxi lanes caused huge traffic jams in rush hour around Oslo with these lanes becoming blocked up by electric cars. There are huge numbers of them there now.
