Just sinking a couple more local beers before we get transfered to the airport.
That should stop me getting drawn in any further on here.
Something we can all agree on:

The pound has been lower and
Apple raises prices of their stuff in the UK because of thre falling pound.

You don't have to buy Apple old kiddy in fact when balanced what do you really need?

Apple make **** hot computers and I have a new Mac Pro and Work has also nicely purchased me one for the UK
I don't care how much they cost

You could of tried harder at school Durbar xx

Without wanting to fall out or be in the least bit rude......

Imo that's a load of tosh (with respect! ).

Never a chance of falling out just giving the board factual stuff that i am seeing ... think about that when you are queuing up for passport control later x

You will find just English people queuing is enough to see first hand that people are only in it for themselves in the UK.

Monitoring the moaning

One Diesel strike and the UK stops

The Apple stuff was still just cheaper in the States than here even with the devalued £. Now it will be much cheaper, excellent, makes a trip to the Apple Store worthwhile again.

Pirate Party triple its number of seats in Icelandic Parliament, but just short of enough to enter a coalition to govern. Good for them, civil rights, freedom of information, transparency, participative democracy......all things we could do with.

Trump ahead in some polls in the US. God help us.

Patriots rejoice, it's reckoned that without any actual policy changes or indeed doing anything at all, May will make some progress towards her key aim, reducing immigration. Just because the fall in the pound, rising inflation (4% predicted for next year) hate crimes and expected rises in unemployment make the U.K. a less attractive place to come to. Meanwhile, though still high overall EU unemployment is falling. Outstanding.

The government plans to expand student doctors places from 6000 to 7500 a year. Each doctor costs about £300k of taxpayers money to train. Last year the General Medical Council issued over 8000 certificates of professional status to British doctors wishing to work abroad, up from an average of 4-5000 in previous years. 7500 British doctors work in Australia.

been saying this for some time now. Not a Trump fan and I think he is an idiot however Clinton is a nasty peice of work and she is hiding a lot in these emails. The Americans probably don't want Trump but would take him over her.

Clinton has been investigated time and time again (Whitewater, Benghazi, E-Mails) because the Republicans have been desperate to find something on her, but they have come up with nothing. The latest e-mail furore doesn't even involve any sent or received by Clinton herself.

My many US colleagues and friends are desperate - they don't want Trump but hate the idea of voting for Clinton. Crap just washes off Trump, because he ignores it - abuse of women, not paying tax, links with Putin.

Nevertheless she is tainted and not trusted.

Bernie has just taken a few dollars off my company's share price with a couple of tweets. I used to quite like him....

I don't get the antipathy towards Clinton. She has to be the best-qualified presidential candidate ever. I would have loved to have seen Sanders go up against Trump, though. Would he have done better than Clinton I wonder?

I think it is that she is the archetypal professional politician and just not trusted.

As I am on holiday and waiting for the tide to go out before we get the dog out on the beach have relaxed by watching PMQs in its entirety. Very low quality, from all sides. Two leaders with no wit or spontaneity, more 'best possible deal' bleating, no questions on Orgreave or the Nissan deal, just some MP who delivered his own daughter and an easy hit on FIFA because of poppies, as far as I can remember.

It's the Clinton email server that's being investigated and the emails on it.
Uma and Clinton are rumored to be very close

Yes, I listened to PMQs - very dull. The 'analysis' afterwards focussed almost entirely on the poppies thing - as you say, an easy hit for May. Enjoy the beach.

She has had affairs that she wants kept quiet. The democrates paid people to cause trouble at a Trump convention and waited until a few weeks before the election to bring these woman into the debate. I don't claim to be an expert on U.S politics but my American mate says she is a bitch and threatened woman who were knocking off her husband. He also said they she is dispised by many whereas they just think Trump is an idiot.

This is truly the era of "post truth" politics. Votes are cast based on beliefs rather than proof. Most of those beliefs are founded on spin, rumour and innuendo - refuted by those who are slurred by them and ignored by the voters who don't want to hear them because it might undermine their beliefs.

I hope the Americans choose Clinton over Trump. Even if she is dirty (as alleged by the party that knew 100% that Obama was born in Africa and is a Muslim), at least she understands that high level politics has consequences for everyone. I don't think Trump has a clue - although the people behind him (who we don't know and don't get to question) might.

In other news...

Mrs May was on the front pages of newspapers today to show off the outfit she wore to an official function. Who cares about policies when the PM is female and wears frocks we can comment on?

The Daily Mail headline suggests only foreign truck drivers use their phones when driving. But they're not xenophobic, oh no.

Yes, I'm probably having a bad day!
