If something causes concern, to simply ignore it is stupid. I've been very clear about what I see and what people tell me, yet you dismiss this as 'doom and gloom' and then have the nerve to accuse me of that? Pot and kettle springs to mind.

If you don't want to actually engage with the very real issues and concerns people have, then fine. Don't have a go at those of us who do.

You had your chance but calling me a 'tool' because i disagree with you was a step too far.

Opening the book on Boris being sacked or resigning within two years. Let's hope he doesn't embarrass the country too much first. Giving him one of the great offices of state when he has never even sat in a policy deciding cabinet is nuts. Davies will hold the key foreign policy reins anyway over Brexit. He's a decent appointment and apparently Hammond did a lot of the heavy lifting for Osborne when he was Treasury Secretary. Don't get me started on 'Dr' Liam Fox.

I didn't hear all of May's big speech to the press in Downing Street. Big on social justice, 'have's vs have not's' I got. Any mention of immigration or the future relationship with the EU?
Sb good to have you back in the debate! I am looking forward to seeing Boris more. I think he will be different as he wants to be respected.

I really hope you're right.

I'm not convinced he should be anywhere near the Foreign Office.

Col I think this Brexit has been a wake-up call for Boris. He needs to stop fooling around and get on with it. He is actually a highly intelligent bloke who has aspirations of being PM one day

He's a devious, lying **** if you ask me. He may have aspirations, we know that, but that doesn't make him worthy of high office. Joke appointment.

Would that we all had such repeated chances to convince ourselves and others that we are up to it. He is bright and well read but he doesn't plan ahead (witness taking 6 months to get a team together as Mayor, his response to Brexit), talks without thinking and is a proven liar (sacked twice for it). He has no particular skills or experience except being a (self manufactured) 'character'. I really don't like him at all.

Reckon Gove will be offered something demeaning and refuse it, Leadsom shouldn't be offered anything as she is clearly not up to much, but will grab anything available. Hopefully Nicky Morgan gets the boot.

I was staggered by the sheer volume of the exchanges between you, Chaz and I think Goldie earlier. How do you get any work done? I'm on holiday and I couldn't keep up.......spent the afternoon wandering around Palma old town, very nice.

Hasn't May supporter-in chief Chris Grayling been given anything yet? He seems to be a decent chap, but I had to chuckle when I heard him described by one commentator as 'below average intellect'. Sounds perfect for UKIP.

Didn't have much time for May but she's come across well and the decisions made today on the cabinet are good ones IMO. Good role for Boris and it angers the Facebook Remain brigade which is amusing.

He'll probably get sacked for jumping a red light on his bike and knocking out a Chinese tourist crossing the road but that's all part of the fun.

Spent four days in Palma old town before going to a conventional resort last month. Loved it, although the little one got bored and wanted to go to the pool everyday, which is fair enough.
