Reeves rent, Rayner houses, freebies for all, clothes, specs, gigs, free use of flats for which Lord Alli got a free pass to Downing Street.

Reeves lies on CV

Labour donors and employees given civil service jobs without due process.

£170k job for crony Sue Gray, sacked from that given new non job, sacked from that, put in House of Lords

Louise Haigh forced to resign for not declaring fraud conviction

Our invisible foreign secretary has accepted £215k from the money men behind Labour Friends of Israel, which guarantees her impartiality

Plenty more of this kind of stuff, I’m not including the sex pests and nasty social media posts etc

Sleazy and incompetent. And why would you want to judge anyone against the standards set by Johnson? Surely we can aim a bit higher than that.
Yeah
But other than that

Trump knows he'll be impeached if he loses in November. Free and fair elections won't happen.

Mandelson received a £55,000 payoff following his resignation as Ambassador, why is it failure is rewarded with such obscene payments? We, the taxpayers, are funding this lunacy. David Lammy one of many saying he warned Starmer against Mandy's appointment, should Starmer resign Lammy will effectively be Prime Minister until a successor is chosen... <yikes>

Lammy gave an interview to Sky News supporting Mandelson's appointment as ambassador at the time. If he warned Starmer against the appointment he obviously didn't have the character to publicly say so at the time. More interested in staying on the gravy train

Another one bites the dust. Go back 19 months and all the smug media types like Andrew Marr saying how wonderful it was to have the grown ups in charge, not so smug now eh?

Starmer is so isolated now you wonder how long he will drag this out. My guess is it may be the weekend after the Gorton by-election...

McSweeney gone.
If giving **** advice is a resignation worthy offence, accepting it can’t be far off.

Interesting few days ahead. I think Starmer will have to go because everything he touches turns to ****, he seems incapable of managing the agenda. But I have no idea who would replace him and if they would be any better. Whoever it is will likely be in the same mess - terrified of their own MPs and unable to use a massive majority to implement a radical, or even coherent, programme.

His resignation will be an attempt to keep Starmer in his job, which may work for the time being. McSweeney was hated by the left of the party.

Next cab off the rank, though, is probably Rayner. No idea what she might be like as PM, but it would surely be more fun.

I really don’t think he’s going anywhere soon. Has a big majority and a lot of MPs who know they’d be in trouble if it eventually led to an election before one is due. Rayner is the bookies’ favourite but there’s not an obvious person to take over.

There's not going to to be GE for at least three years, despite all the pathetic petitions. There were five PMs over the course of the 14-year Tory ****show, so there's nothing to say that Labour couldn't change PM without a new election. I like Starmer, he's a good man, but I do think he'll have to go.

You know it would give ammo to people constantly demanding one and give them a more legitimate claim though. Theoretically he could have a load of Cabinet resignations and choose to go but I don’t think anyone for quite a while will be in a position for a leadership challenge. It would probably be in their interest to get a new broom in in the year leading up to an election but I don’t see it for now.

You must be in a lonely place. The man is a seasoned liar, he gave 10 pledges to win the Party leadership and binned the lot within a year or so. You learned more about Labour's election plans from what he didn't tell you rather than what he did and since coming to power has been a total disaster. For him to say he didn't know about Mandelson & Epstein is beyond credulity but he's found his scapegoat this time and he's running out of them. He even made David Lammy Deputy PM... <doh>

Good ****ing Christ! I kind of like NFL, and, for my sins, I thought I'd watch the Superbowl, but **** right off. The whole thing is puke-making.

I've come to despise America and everything American.

He's admitted that he knew that Mandelson was still friends with Epstein when he made him ambassador. What he didn't know was quite how much of a traitor he was. It was a foolish appointment, but a lot of people thought it was smart at the time.
