All the revelations regarding financial information passed on by Mandleson, when he was effectively Deputy Prime Minister, clearly show that he should be charged at least under the official secrets act and insider trading regulations. If he doesn't end up being jailed it'll be a perfect example of 'one rule for the rich and powerful'...

Mandleson 'retires' from the House of Lords and Gordon Brown writes to the Met Police. We look forward to the reptile being arrested perhaps with a television crew in tow...

Just seen a Labour Party Political Broadcast through idleness, couldn’t be arsed to reach for the remote.

It was 100% an attack ad on Reform. They are really ****ting themselves. Obviously decided this tactic was stronger than telling us about their achievements in office. And they did have 5 minutes to fill.

I’m not sure the British respond well to attack ads, but doubtless this had been focus grouped to death.

Yes, they are ****ting themselves, but I think Reform are fair game for attack by Labour. The Reform party as a whole, and Farage in particular, get too much of a free ride from the media. I read that that Labour want to make Brexit a feature of the next GE, and rightly so. Farage should be held to account for the damage that his pet project has wrought. Starmer won't be PM going into the election, though. In fact he might not be by the end of the month.

The problem for Labour is they are now in the same 'doom loop' the Tories were in previously and it's totally their own total incompetence from the Leader down. Every decision is being 'doctored' by a left wing bunch of backbenchers most whom have no experience of life outside Westminster and appear to have no idea of the cost of their decisions. With the tail wagging the dog and a total lame duck leader Labour face a wipe out in May. The alternatives to Starmer are almost as frightening.

The big problem for Reform is they face tactical voting in many constituencies so for Labour to just target them there will be LibDems, Greens etc mopping up seats and we'll end up with a horrific coalition that could make the current government look quite sane and the price of any coalition will be Proportional Representation which will perpetuate the mess...

Not sure there’ll be much tactical voting that will harm Reform. Labour, Greens and Lib Dems are unlikely to gift each other seats. If anything the Greens will run intentionally where they can’t win as long as they have the resources.

Agree it’ll be a coalition. Some Green/SNP/Plaid/Lib Dem nonsense where they all fall out every five minutes calling each other Zionist plants.

A really good mission statement speech by Starmer this morning, but inevitably no one paid that much attention and all the questions afterwards were about Mandelson. The focus, though, is all on Mandelson's continued friendship with Epstein - which Starmer has admitted he knew about - and not on the much more egregious (to me) Mandelson 'crime' of leaking sensitive government information, which I don't believe Starmer could have known about when appointing him.

Oh dear, Nigel...now what you gonna do. Next it'll be a picture of you and Mandy in a mankini

No amount of AI can make him any less of a **** though
Don't know if Farage was a pal of Epstein, but they were certainly connected via Steve Bannon. There's a message from Bannon to Epstein, saying how he'd been in Brexit meetings with 'Nigel, Boris and Rees-Mogg'. Epstein's response was 'Brexit. Just the start.'

Allegedly, his name is in the files over 40 times....a long way to catch up with Trump though. Apparently Trumps name appears more times in Epsteins files than Harry Potters name appears in all seven Harry Potter books <laugh>

Bet the Epstein files are better written than those books though.
