Farage is the only individual with ‘significant control’ according to Companies House. He holds 8 of the 15 shares in the company. And has done since it was established.

In practical terms it means what he says goes within the company/party. It might have members but there are no processes where members shape policy or strategy. When Farage decided he would become leader it was simply his decision. No election or consultation.

It seems Farage is doing this to avoid the chaos that surrounded UKIP. The current arrangements must more complex than appears. Reform are attracting a huge number of "members" who pay a fee. Also people like Nick Candy and Charlie Mullins have made big contributions. What are they members of? Not the company presumably, but since the Electoral Commission has approved the arrangements, there must be strict obligations on how the money is spent. Tice's payments are loans apparently, presumably unsecured. Zia Yusef has given around £200k. Small beer compared with what the main political parties spend at a GE.

I didn’t realise that Labour winning the election meant that our screens and newspapers were going to be filled with smug ****s like Blair and Mandelson telling everyone how to do everything. Mandelson telling the yanks that they need his equally smug pal Obama and his wife to sort out the Biden fiasco (he’s just ****ed up again - if they had any sense the US cabinet would declare him unfit to be president now, let alone unfit to stand again). Blair whining on about AI and technology as his new panacea.

These ****ers take zero responsibility for the world they (admittedly inadvertently) created. They gave us the conditions which gave us Trump and Johnson and Truss. They are completely oblivious to this of course, still spouting their sanctimonious ****, revelling in lack of accountability. Yesterday’s men who don’t know their time has long gone.

Inadvertently? There were enough people warning of the problems to come but arrogant ****ers like Anthony Blair knew best. He was on a mission from God.

So Biden isn't fit to be President, but Trump is? Biden must be getting regular medical examinations to measure his cognitive acuity and the results of these should be made public. If they show significant impairment he should be declared unfit, but otherwise he's just an an old man with a stammer who sometimes gets his words mixed up. I'd pick that man over Trump - an adjudicated rapist and convicted felon who incited a violent insurrection against his own government - every time. Trump's name still being on the ballot is what should be outraging people, not Biden's.

It’s not a comparison. Biden is in functional cognitive decline, his friends, colleagues and allies and are saying so, people who see him in private as well as the farce we see playing out in public. Clooney told Obama what he was going to write in the NY Times and Obama didn’t try to dissuade him. Biden is consistently refusing to take cognitive function tests, let alone publish the results. He is the candidate least likely to defeat your nemesis Trump - according to the polls. That’s why Trump is going relatively easy on him, he doesn’t want Biden replaced. 67% of voters do want him dumped, including most democrats, and even Harris has a lead over Trump if she was the candidate.

As I’ve posted before the majority of the American electorate don’t want to vote for either of these candidates, it’s a failure of their party system that they have got them.

Problem about Biden is he's losing it now. What's he going to be like in 2,3,4 years? He's been President, now he should head off to whatever retirement he has left.
