Lucy Letby seems to have been motivated by control, thrill, attention-seeking and anger.

Some have said she is psychopathic, yet she expressed remorse and disgust in her private writing. She was a Nurse Jekyll and Ms Hyde.

A good friend of mine has been an investigating officer on the case for a few years, says it bought him to tears at times...this is a hardened cop who has seen more **** than I'd ever want to have had to deal with. She tried to play the crazy card, but was deemed mentally fit enough to stand trial. In his words, she was just pure evil. There's further investigations ongoing, **** knows what the number of dead at her hands is going to be...hope she gets the **** kicked out of her every night wherever she ends up.

She doesn't deserve to continue living.

When a debate is emotions versus evidence and rational thought it’s probably better to go with the evidence and rational thought. Emotions are cool too though.

No she doesn't, but I don't think that means that she should be killed.

This conversation got me to start watching the channel 5 doc/drama “The Child Snatcher”, which tells of the crimes of Robert Black and the hunt for him. Has interviews with the families of the little girls that were killed by him and is quite an emotional and hard watch at times. Didn’t know that when he was finally caught, by pure luck, the policeman who pulled him over found his own daughter in the back of the van, tied up in a sleeping bag and awaiting her fate.
An evil, vile **** who without any doubt whatsoever committed the crimes he was accused of, and probably a lot more, and someone who showed absolutely no remorse for what he did……sadly he died a natural death that he denied many others.
Yeah of course it’s emotion talking, but hey, I’d gladly have hanged the ****er

Presumably there's no suggestion she didn't do it?
I think she was arrested in 2018. Why has it all taken so long?

There was no direct evidence. No witnesses, cctv, DNA etc It was all circumstantial, but there was a lot of it apparently. She was being charged for murdering or attempting to murder over a dozen babies, so each had to be tried in turn.

Cheers.
I've found the reporting quite difficult to follow amid the media's usual hype.
