Do you rent or own your own place ?
If you rent has what you pay gone up substantially?

No reason to answer, I’m just curious after seeing a tweet

Used to own but now rent. Rent went up by 12.5% fairly recently and basic salary went up 5% earlier this year so below inflation. Moving to a marginally cheaper area though so I’ll basically be paying what I paid before for a nicer flat.

London's gone crazy. Where i lived the rents were around 1300 dropped to about 1150 for a 2 bed during the pandemic and are now going for around 1900
