Yes I’m eternally grateful to boomers for being the children of the generation who won the war and enjoyed all the benefits of the boom period that followed before pulling up the drawbridge on subsequent generations.

Not looking for gratitude from you, mate. It's not in your nature.

Dianne has let you lot down, hasn't she?

I always find it interesting that the liberal left, every year will take the piss about English people celebrating St George’s day…..but also every year will happily wear a green leprechaun hat and shamrock on St Patrick’s day, when their only connection to Ireland is drinking a pint of Guinness two Fridays ago.

If you celebrate it……Happy St George’s Day

Absolutely spot on.
Everyone is admired by the Liberal left for their patriotism EXCEPT the English.

You can be patriotic in whichever way you choose. Personally I think making excuses for the people who have worsened the country in every conceivable way and made the most vulnerable people in society poorer isn’t patriotism but each to their own.

But that’s got **** all to do with people celebrating their patron Saint.

Is that a dig at the Tories?
What has this got to do with you lot hating the English being patriotic?
I think you're losing it.

Obviously it’s a dig at the Tories. I don’t think a patriot could support them after what they’ve inflicted upon us but the self-proclaimed patriots generally do.

I don’t hate you being patriotic. I think it’s a bit pointless but wave your flag and eat your coronation quiche.

Ridiculous. Sums up liberal left thinking.

But you’re happy to have people wave a blue flag with yellow stars…..hmmmmmm
