The socialist PM of Sweden resigned yesterday. Replaced by a Far Right coalition. Reason - the failure of their naive, liberal immigration policy.

There's been a lot of outrage about the policeman involved being suspended pending an enquiry and even intimations from some that because the shot man was a scumbag, an enquiry somehow shouldn't be necessary. Those attitudes seem dangerous to me.

Interesting. He always comes across as an intelligent, polite and measured individual to me, whereas O’Brien is a different kettle of fish entirely.
O'Brien is a nasty piece of work of the "be kind to everyone" irony brigade. Clearly, he's even more obnoxious after a drink. The fact that the LBC bosses spend time with the arrogant **** says all you need to know about what that radio station has become.
I don't know O'Brien personally (it seems you do) but I listen to his show and think it's probably the best programme on talk radio. He now has over 1.3 million listeners, which is probably why the station bosses spend time with him. He's also written two excellent books, which show him to be anything but arrogant. You should read them and have your eyes opened.

I don't need to know someone who's on the radio 5 times a week personally. He's a hate-filled shock jock, and the fact that Tice and Nawaz approached to shake his hand and he told them to **** off is in character. No disrespect to you, Strolls, but if I had his books, I'd hang them on string next to the lavatory.
