The police officer who shot Chris Kaba has been suspended. London Mayor
@SadiqKhan
called the suspension "a really important decision", which he "fully" supported. Firearms police officers have threatened to hand in their weapons after the Queen's funeral.

Yes, it seems 'St Chris' the wonderful family man is actually a career criminal with a firearms conviction amongst his record. Refused 12 times to leave his vehicle after ramming others during chase. But the MSM won't tell you that...

Lots of conclusions being jumped to on both sides of this.
It will be very interesting to hear what actually happened and why.

I don't know how this is happening Col, but fully agree with you again....its been weeks since we have disagreed ( lol)

It is an odd story.

The car was " involved" in a firearms incident.

The car did not stop when asked to.

But why did the policeman shoot...was he threatened or scared or panicked.

Absolutely it should be investigated .. no doubt.
Yes the policeman should be on gardening leave, he must be very upset.

Let the investigation take it course...then let's discuss with knowledge

What a joke. But he was shot by a racist cop because he was black surely ? Mmmm. Surely these previous convictions would come out in any court proceedings

Whatever kind of scumbag this fella was, the facts are that he was unarmed when he was shot. It's perfectly correct that there should be an enquiry into the police actions. We can't turn into the US.

From what I'm aware, and I don't know all the facts, he was hemmed in in his car, refused to get out when challenged, then attempted to drive his vehicle directly at an officer.

Different scenario, but years ago whilst serving, we were trained that a vehicle being driven at you can be perceived as a deadly weapon, and if you feel that your life or anyone elses life is at risk, then deadly force was authorised, as long as the correct challenges were issued to the attacker.

I'm assuming this was what happened, and an inquiry, with video footage should exonerate the officer involved if all correct procedures were carried out.

Of course there should be an enquiry, as all relevant information and footage can come to light. I'd like to ask why not 1 of his family or friends or anyone else in his community has mentioned his past once, just saying he was a caring family man who was never in any trouble when this clearly is not the case !

The official mourning period is over. Re-commence the immigrant stories.

Denmark & Rwanda have signed a deal where up to a 1,000 people a year would have their asylum claims processed there. Denmark have been successful in reducing asylum claimants from 21,316 in 2015 to 2,099 in 2021. The Danish govt is centre-left.

There's an enquiry every time a British police officer fires a round.
