Pathetic. She's doing one day standing in forJames O'Brien on LBC, It's hardly a second job. The other four days will be covered by Matt Hancock, Jeremy Hunt, Tom Tugendhat and Was Streeting.
Was Streeting sounds like yesterday's man

What matters to the Tory Party members choosing the next PM
- cost of living 43%
- refugees crossing the channel 43%
- tax 18%
- free speech 13%
- trans issues 3%
Could be that leadership candidates are being mislead about what’s important by Twitter twats and right wing media pundits.
Interestingly the refugees in the channel issue ranked 15 out of 16 for the general electorate in Blue Wall southern seats, but slightly more important for Red Wall voters in the north.

Apparently Badenoch said something along the lines of ‘there are no solutions, only trade offs’ during the debate, and took some stick for this from commentators. It’s one of the more honest and intelligent things I’ve heard a politician say. Rules her out then…..
Not listening very closely as I’m preparing dinner, but sounds like a sixth form balloon debate, desperate and amateur. Can we chuck them all out?
I’m not knowledgeable enough about what she actually believes and her level of competence, but judging by the competition she’d be head and shoulders above a lot of the recent cabinet, and could perhaps get a big ministry as a result of this. Not so impressed with the ‘I’m black and anti woke’ schtick, it seems like an ‘I’m like you white people really, don’t be scared of me’ plea. Not sure you were ever likely to be complimentary?
What do you make of Kemi?
Also, how in hell are you managing to cook in a hot kitchen?
We've just ordered out as ours is unbearable.

Was only making a prawn and chorizo pasta sauce, not a Sunday roast. Our kitchen is in what was the cellar of a Victorian terrace, stays relatively cool and we have big doors opening on to the garden, there has been a slight breeze. Today has been a nice Mediterranean feel. Tomorrow and Tuesday might be another matter….
Badenoch's anti-wokeness stretches to claiming that there's no such thing as white privilege in the UK, effectively reinforcing racism.

Good grief!
Her anti wokeness is a breath of fresh air.
Here we go.
Go away you old fool.
Let’s face it 95+% of things that are deemed woke are either made up or completely over inflated and twisted by ****rags like the mail.
We’ve had this left wing government for far too long. Some refreshing culture wars and aNtI-wOkE is just what we all need on a hot day.
