Sooo Starmers party is it right? Well not in my opinion, however is it news? No because this was brought up and addressed last spring. Stinks of distraction and desperation

I said earlier Wills that he did the same as Boris (the garden photo) yet criticised the PM? He can’t have it both ways. Agree though BYOB gate is completely different.

Fair point I’m not in 100% agreement but close enough as either side could bring points which would give a differing perspective

I think it’s the sheer number that’s mind boggling. Fool me once shame on you.. fool me .. think by last count it was in double figures and I don’t think they saying takes into account that quantity.

Dont get me wrong BYOB gate is abhorrent behaviour. People picked up on the byob bit because its good in the papers but for me the worst bit of the email was when they mentioned deaths and in the next bit said ‘as its sunny’ ( or whatever the words were).

I don't think anyone is arguing that Boris Johnson's disciplinary record over these parties is anything but diabolically bad. And there are some diversionary tactics being deployed now - BBC and Navy - which are also red meat for his backbenchers. But Starmer needs to be sure he is whiter than white over parties or he'll look an idiot.

Funny you say that Goldie as a Times reporter ( I think it was the Times) says that Starmer has nowhere to go now, no wriggle room for mistakes.

I don’t necessarily agree he has to be whiter than white but I’d agree he should have acknowledged the allegations that came out last spring whilst attacking Johnson on these issues.

Yeah the distraction is definitely on, and hopefully it’s seen for what it is by all.

It’s funny the same people taking what Cummings says as gospel are they ones who said not long ago he was a liar. I agree the bloke is a lair and shouldn’t be trusted.

oh come on back when Cummings was on the inside and driving brexit he was believed by Tory supporters now he’s on the out he’s a liar?

If we’re all honest we all know he’ll say what’s in the best interest of one person, himself. The truth is unimportant. He’s clearly a liar but when he’s contradicting another compulsive liar.. it’s difficult to know who is telling the truth. The only real thing Cummings has here is he has nothing real to gain by lying… maybe revenge? Wouldn’t put it past him.

Wills I think most people turned off Cummins when he lied about Barnard Castle. At the time I was supporting him because he said he didn’t go. I trusted him but he lied. People can see through him now. He just wants to cause as much damage to the PM as possible.

Maybe, maybe by actually telling the truth that’s what’s damaging Johnson the most. I trust neither of them, that’s the problem when someone tells so many lies you’re never going to trust them.

Something quite telling was the date of one of these party’s… just before the castle trip. It was always suspected he had something on Johnson, for Johnson to support Cummings through that nonsense

Being that Cummings is an established liar but like Johnson, and they were the key figures in the U.K. leave vote…. Could it be they lied in regards to….
