Starmer and Co just aren't cutting it.
As Ubes said recently, there's nothing there to vote for anymore.
We have never needed a decent centre left alternative more.

I also know, there was a video camera system at the entry and a signing in book. A a number for huge great policemen in the enterance area (plus security that I did not see). It will be easy to know who was in no10 that day/night and what time they left

Beth firstly, fair play to you for visiting No 10, which by the way must have been an experience. I sadly never got to go inside, only outside. However I was lucky enough to visit the war office and the look down the tunnels to No 10. My Mum used to be in No 10 all the time...Parts that not even you would have seen (sorry but being honest). The place is actually a labirenth and that was back then. By now the whole place must have had a renovation.
 
So the scapegoat is this strutton woman, was she the only person at this party? If so why has she resigned as apparantly there was no party! Johnson has been assured of that! So i presume she resigned for her laughing recorded video and for upsetting the general public? Have i got it right?

I don't think England will vote centre left. Wales might, but there are no numbers. Labour's vote in Scotland has gone to the SNP

The best we can hope for is that Sunak takes over from Johnson at some stage, but I wouldn't rule out Johnson riding the wave and wooing voters again. Something Sunak might do in a quiet, gentlemanly way, but Liz Truss would fall on her nose over.

Indeed, what have we done to deserve the dross currently in parliament? I think increasingly researchers, interns, party activists straight from university and other party workers within the 'Westminster Bubble' are often 'parachuted' into constituencies with no real world work experience and are totally out of touch with the lives of ordinary people.

The Labour Party bears no resemblance to that of 30-40 years ago and is light years away from the ordinary worker whom they now seem to despise.

The Tories are no better, a bunch of crooked, self-serving, arrogant bastards who treat the general public with contempt. Guy Fawkes was so ahead of his time...

She resigned because of all the fuss it has caused. It was a mock, a test for the publicity suite. She did what most people would do in front of a camera only it has been used against the government. The facts remain that Boris did not know and was not there.
The story will go away in 2-3 weeks
 
Ah so Strutton resigned over her video doing the rounds. Lets see what Poirot finds out about the xmas party then hey, shouldnt be too difficult and should take all of 10 minutes to find the records of who was in 10 downing street, at what time and til when.

Not what most people would do at all mate. Well i for one wouldnt take the piss like that while people are in hospital losing their lives. Each to their own though. And like you said earlier, nobody knows yet who was there, so its not a fact that Johnson wasnt there or didnt know.

No one's saying he was there, merely that he must have known about it and has therefore consistently lied about it.

Do you reckon he knew about the party that his wife threw to celebrate her getting rid of Cummings?

They seriously need to up their security if they cant find out who was at no.10 on a certain date.

Where do these people draw the line? I didn't give it a 'like' because I thought it was in bad taste.
