I think there will be a low turnout at the forthcoming bye election, and yes, a move to the Lib Dems and possibly the Reform Party. So the seat is in the balance for the Tories.

Boris is not known for his discipline and needs a party enforcer to stem these ridiculous gaffs.

Are we talking Shropshire? Just looked at the odds and the Tories are 10/11 which looks a huge price to me in spite of everything.

I also lost loved ones. Someone very close. Plenty of politicians and people broke the rules but the fact is Boris wasn't even at the party. If you want to blame someone blame the ones that were there... if there actually was a party.
It was at his house Ellers.

On a serious note I was going to mention a Christmas drink with a few of you but this bloody new Covid variant and the idiots in charge (the government) will probably f22k it up. Maybe a Not 606 virtual drink? :emoticon-0168-drink:emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0162-coffe

Yes, North Shropshire, Owen Paterson's constituency. I'm not gambling odds proficient, but I assume 10/11 is essentially one in two ie 50% chance of winning.

I would have thought that was about right.

Allegra Stratton has resigned. She accepts that she attended a cheese and wine party on her own, and kept it secret from the prime minister. She accepts full responsibility for everything.

Mmm so there should be a few apologies coming in. Actually they will only say she lied.
As I said it was a non story blown up before a by election.

Non-stories don’t tend to lead to resignations. Massive stories don’t tend to lead to resignations in this government.

Funny the loudest voices today we're Kay Burley Beth Rigby Captain Hindsight and Ian “second refferendum” Blackford.... All have something in common?
They all broke lockdown rules.

The story broke by the Mirror and this was their front page.
The PM wasn't even there yet a few gullible melons will see this picture and believe the story.
