Are we talking Shropshire? Just looked at the odds and the Tories are 10/11 which looks a huge price to me in spite of everything.

Yes, North Shropshire, Owen Paterson's constituency. I'm not gambling odds proficient, but I assume 10/11 is essentially one in two ie 50% chance of winning.

I would have thought that was about right.
 
Allegra Stratton has resigned. She accepts that she attended a cheese and wine party on her own, and kept it secret from the prime minister. She accepts full responsibility for everything.

As I said it was a non story blown up before a by election.

Non-stories don’t tend to lead to resignations. Massive stories don’t tend to lead to resignations in this government.

Funny the loudest voices today we're Kay Burley Beth Rigby Captain Hindsight and Ian “second refferendum” Blackford.... All have something in common?
They all broke lockdown rules.
 
The story broke by the Mirror and this was their front page.
The PM wasn't even there yet a few gullible melons will see this picture and believe the story.
