Bill & Melinda Gates have decided to split everything in half, she gets the Northern Hemisphere and him the Southern!
apparently worth £100B. Not a bad divorce settlement.
On a serious note, I think it will be an amicable settlement as they are still friends and have kids and are continuing their foundations together.

Yes, it looks like a love affair that has moved into a business relationship. I'd be amazed if it's an acrimonious divorce given that together they have already donated $50bn to charitable causes.

But there's nowt so queer as folk...it may go all the way to the Supreme Court on who gets custody of the family dog!

Always seems to go the same way on this thread. Ellers you do get personal and then cry the victim when others do the same back. It's getting beyond ridiculous. I'm joining Staines on a sabbatical. May one day see you all in the future!
Well tbh Bob it was going fine until Wills showed up and made the usual snide remark. You are not stupid open your eyes and see it. It was the same last week when he mentioned my Mrs in a post. No need for it.

Just because you wanted Brexit or voted for that party doesn’t mean that you are some thick racist mate.
Remember Brexit is done and voters will return to their established parties. To add to that there were 120 Labour leave constituencies at the time.
Starmer and his shadow cabinet are not very good and people can see that. That’s the reason why they will lose that seat.

This is absolute bollocks though. Most people couldn’t name more than a few of the Shadow Cabinet and would struggle for double figures on the Cabinet despite them taking it in turns for months to advertise themselves on stage every evening.

The Tories have benefitted massively from hoovering up the far right vote. We’re talking about a place that UKIP got more than 1 in 4 votes. It’s completely disingenuous to pretend otherwise.

You have said it yourself in your second sentence. Why can't they name the shadow cabinet? it's because their points aren't getting through to voters. Remember what I posted the other day from that life long Labour voter in Hartlepool... "they are not listing to us, they are taking us for granted". He wasn't some right wing/UKIP loving Brexitier, he was a genuine Labour voter. Brexit is over now and it should be back to old foes fighting it out. The truth is people were let down by Labour and they are turning away from them. By the way what I have said here is similar to what the political correspondent said on Sky News. He talks a lot of sense.

It could be all of that. It could just be that at any point in the last half a century most people wouldn’t have been able to name many of the Shadow Cabinet.

If Brexit is over and not relevant then people wouldn’t be crying about Labour’s choice of candidate who on paper is a perfectly solid choice. The Brexit cult will play a big role in politics for years and there’s no way Labour is getting around it. The spanners have found a voice and no actual facts are going to have a chance against their emotions.

Agree it will play some role but I believe people are moving back to their original or new parties.
