wrongun. :)
Obviously Boris made a mistake i believe... A bit like Captain Hindsight did recently yet no one wanted to talk about that? funny that. If it's okay for Starmer it's ok for Boris it would seem.

He seems to make a lot of mistakes then fail to own up to them. Not in the top 100 Johnson gaffes in terms of seriousness, deadliness or hilariousness but if he’s going to keep pretending to be a Prime Minister he could try not being quite such a bumbling old nonce.

You do make me laugh Watford. Bryant was the muppet who stormed out of the house not long ago and received a warning. from the speaker. I posted that on here .
Anyway we know Boris doesn't own up to stuff, that's Boris. How many times do I need to say that Boris laughs at his own crap! that's just Boris and that's what makes him popular with the people. Starmer is boring as old wood and people don't like him. He is a dud. That's why the Tories are kicking ass in the polls. By the way in political terms that tells us that the opposition is 2222.
I said last week that at the review meeting the tories will change their mind. NHS staff will get more than what is being reported. Chill out

Isn’t it a sorry state of affairs that a young lady being killed in our capital makes front page headlines.......whereas a 19 year old being stabbed to death the day before hardly makes the news at all , except in passing.

Have we really become that desensitised to knife crime in our country ?

It depends who is the victim, a young lady in an allegedly affluent area, a police officer arrested will always be headline news. Half a dozen postcode gang stabbings/shootings is chip shop wrappings a couple of days later...

Thats my point mate. Still a young life taken away all for the sake of a ****ing postcode.

Within half a mile of where I live there are flowers tied to lamp posts/railings where youngsters have been murdered in the past couple of years, three different lots...

It’s a ****ing tragedy mate.....and it’s become so common in the last few years that it really isn’t newsworthy.
I’ve heard it averaging one a week...and that’s deaths.....untold stabbings that don’t kill

This really does take the piss now
That's society mate. The reason we have a Tory majority is that people really dont care any more. Look at what's happened over the iast year, companies giving contracts worth millions with a massive profit, and yet again that is deemed acceptable. Whilst voters are still blinkered by Boris the inevitable still happens the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. There needs to be a massive stance against this but sadly I do not see it happening. We clapped for the NHS but clearly the Govt didn't

I’m sad to say your post is spot on mate.......what hope have our kids got ? None really as their contracts aren’t worth the paper they’re written on and can be torn up at a whim if the bosses want more profit.
At least this is one advantage of getting older.....it matters a little bit less to me personally...but I feel for the young ones.

Totally understandable and I do agree mostly Bobby....there is no right or wrong way in thinking.
So therefore should we look at *****philes who have been abused themselves as children, as also victims of their own circumstance and treat them instead of punishing them ? Personally I’d find it very hard to do, however logic tells me that would be a better approach than just locking them up.
Of course some are just born evil, the psychopaths of this world, and no matter what these kind cannot be helped, as sad as it is.

Interesting debate......
It is indeed. But whatever the cause the fact remains that we all grow up and know that it is wrong to indulge yourself in behaviour that hurts or abuses and kills another person but some choose to do it nevertheless because they get a buzz from it . They enjoy the experience. We need to remember that there is evil and that not that everything can be airbrushed away and excused as the product of various causes or some form of mental illness. The Yorkshire Ripper was a classic case. Havers was all for accepting a plea to manslaughter but the Judge refused and the cross-examination of the defence psychiatric expert and Sutcliffe himself was left to Harry Ognall who demolished both exposing the former as an idiot and the latter as a manipulative liar. Thank heavens that the Judge did his job and that Havers bottled it.

Yeah mate you’re right, and if it was my child who had been abused I would want that person dead. Maybe I’m looking at it too deep, but I just feel that we are all victims of our own circumstances...our upbringing and how we are treated as children. It’s no excuse, and not meant to come over as looking for an excuse, for what is vile and repulsive.....just I sometimes feel pity for some of these people when I hear their back story.
I always found the plot from “The Boys From Brazil” fascinating and often wonder if that kind of thing would work.

Equalities adviser has quit saying Johnson’s government has created a hostile environment for the LGBT community. Specifically citing the failure to ban conversion therapy as part of the issue.

In other news more pressure for captain u-turn to perform...... yet another u-turn. Why does captain u-turn feel the need to do so many u-turns. Does captain u-turn just constantly make wrong decisions?
