I don't care enough to get into a debate about an ex-celebrity ex-Royal now celebrity....but surely everyone's* favourite all time royal has to be Edward I? Crushed the Welsh, hammered the Scots - what's not to love?

I was just interested in whether it was done yet or not. She might be going onto Oprah to speak about her own life, certainly possible to do an interview and just give no comments to any question about the royal family.

They have cut themselves off from the royal family and obviously something went very wrong there. What was wrong with the way it was done? My recollection of the events were that:

They said they didn't want to do any royal duties
something about them feeling they were mistreated by the media
told they queen they were moving out
repaid monies for whatever place they were living in
****ed off to canada.

Maybe i'm being too simplistic about it but what in the manner was wrong with that apart from it breaking royal tradition as not many royals say that don't want to be following the tradition and sponging off the tax payer?

There was a bit more to it. They gave no notice of what they were doing to anyone. There was no consultation with the Queen, Charles or William, let along Buck House. Meghan complained on camera that no one in Harry's family asked her how she was. Harry was upset that his photo was not on display during the Queen's message. They refused to show anyone their baby unless there was money in it. And they flounced out of Frogmore Cottage that had been carefully tailored to them. Since then they've written a book seeking to justify their actions.The whole thing stinks of bad manners and bad feeling

Half of them on here wouldn’t even know who he was. It would have been better if you mentioned Femi,Lord Adonis and Greta Funbags.

Personally, I think all Royals are ****s, but they are a neccessary evil in our country, wouldn't want to see us become a republic with a president...and that's a whole different argument

I guess at least Edward I didn't book a first class ticket on a train then put his stuff in the hallway and take a picture with the caption 'overcrowded' only for the German rail company to say 'her seat was in first class unused'?

like Greta, a true inspiration, has done so much in such a short timespan, wonder why so middle aged men have a dig at someone who is only trying to raise awareness for a scientific fact, don’t people care about the environment for future generations of their families?

It’s improved so much you’re cheering it being worse than a year ago. Markets factor in the probabilities of massive shocks like leaving the EU without a deal. Achieving some vague deal albeit what has proved to be a demonstrably poor one is an improvement on that. You could have celebrated a huge uplift in the pound if we’d just sacked off Brexit altogether.

I’m not bitching. You’re the one getting excited over it being up over a week or month. The long term trend remains poor and clearly poorer than it would be without Brexit.

All of it really comes back to you constantly trying to scrape some sort of win where there is none.

Fortunately I’m doing well btw. I just have enough of a conscience to care about those who can’t afford to have life get a bit harder.
