I’m glad you have changed your stance by using the term ‘overseeing’ and not accusing them, which was wrong. As for ruing businesses, once again you can’t see past your nose. You really need to stop reading The Guardian. Companies all over the World have had problems, we are no different. Things will get better once Covid goes. Still we could listen to Mr Starmer if we can work out what his policies are this week? He has also just been told to be more ‘Pro Business’. Do you actually know what you are talking about? Read up a bit before you post this ill informed rubbish?

Their ideology has played a huge role in both the Covid death toll and the difficulties exporters are having.

It suits Tories to treat Covid as some act of nature they were powerless to stop and it suits them to blame the results of an unnecessarily hard Brexit on delivering the “will of the people” when in truth they could have mitigated the impact and still delivered on their promise. In summary, you’re a complete embarrassment for even trying to defend them.

Here is a better answer to your ridiculous post regarding Starmer/covid/buisness. 2 of todays papers saying not only do people think Boris would makes a better leader through this pandemic but also how Mr Starmer is becoming more of a Tory. I'm sure many true Labour voters will enjoy his latest stunt? Contradicts what you are saying. Now I am sure you will respond moaning about the papers or that the population are all thick drum beating sheep but from what I am hearing each day it's actually Mr Starmer who is having a complete nightmare whereas Boris is riding high with voters.

Rattled Keir Starmer urged to be more ‘pro-business’
After a bruising week, Labour insiders are urging their leader to be bolder on the economy

I find this idea that manual workers are "working class" very misleading.
Most plumbers, brick layers and carpenters earn what would be considered "middle class" wages.
I used to work in a brick laying gang.
It was a struggle for a good 10 years from 1990 to 2001 .
Then we earned decent money for 6 /7 years before the financial crisis .
I now work at a printers
The lads that I used to work with now earn easily £1,000 a week now .

My eldest Son earns over 1k a week, but not this week with the temperature not getting above freezing.

Hopefully this is suitably not patronising or overly woke so as to not put off would-be Labour voters until the goalposts are moved again.

There was a Doc on about it on ITV last week .
If you had a link to the Tory cabinet you where 10,000% more likely to secure a contract to supply ppe for the covid pandemic .
One pub landlord ( friend of Matt Hancock ) got awarded a £30 million contract .

You’re entrenched in the world’s deepest echo chamber though so I don’t really care what you’re hearing on the Wokingham ‘Get Brexit Done’ Facebook page.

Some left-leaning people will disagree with Starmer trying to take more of the centre ground. Staines, for example. Personally I think it’s the only chance Labour has of winning an election albeit still a slim one and Labour can’t demonstrate a left of centre alternative unless they actually get into power so I hope the more left-leaning voters can be less idealist when it comes to deciding whether or not to get behind him. Presenting himself as more “pro-business” makes perfect sense when the economy is likely to be a huge focus at the next election and there’s obvious material to attack the “**** business” government’s handling of that economy.

If only you’d scrutinise the actual government you blindly drop your knickers for half as much as the opposition that apparently has no chance of ever getting in anyway you might look like more than a cheerleader.

If you believe that... then good luck to you. Meanwhile in the real world...

In the real world the shy Tories probably won’t be won over and will continue to be the domestic abuse victims of politics pretending their partner has changed this time before another five years of going back for more. I just hope Labour give themselves a chance of winning, again albeit still as the underdog and even it it meant as a coalition.

According to lbc a man has been arrested for tweeting that the only good British soldier is a dead one, burn Tom, burn.

not sure exactly what he can be charged with there, if being a **** was an offence there would be no Chelsea fc.

I read the tweet you mentioned....the fella is obviously a horrible **** who just wants attention.....but arrested him seems rather draconian.

Man charged in Lanark over Captain Sir Tom Moore tweet

A man has been charged in Lanarkshire in connection with an offensive social media tweet about Sir Captain Tom Moore.

Sir Tom died in Bedford Hospital last Tuesday, aged 100, after testing positive for Covid-19.

The 35-year-old man is due to appear in court later this week.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "On Friday 5 February 2021, we received a report of an offensive tweet about Sir Captain Tom Moore who died on Tuesday 2 February.

"A 35-year-old man has subsequently been arrested and charged in connection with communication offences and is due to appear at Lanark Sheriff Court on Wednesday 17 February."

Ellera & Co curious to have your view on the equivalence in the finance industry? Any constructive thoughts ? God Boris forbot the sector altogether it seems.
