An unpleasant thing to say. I for one hope that we don't have to become as baseless as Trump - else what is the point of him going? I loved what Biden said about our opponents not being our enemies.
He’s right to say that, of course, but after years of “you lost get over it”, “crush the saboteurs” and similar rhetoric here and there after victories for the right (not that Biden is really left wing by any definition) it’s understandable to want to dish a bit back when you take as much flak as he does.

I was sent this yesterday - my problem with this is why is there an Union Flag behind an American soldier? Clearly has US uniform and is holding an AR15 or M16 - not UK issue
I get that. Not easy to always rise above it, especially when ones opponents haven't been magnanimous. Glad Biden was able to though.
