Here's a cheery read. Noam Chomsky, a truly great man, believes that humanity is closer than ever to extinction.

The Doomsday clock now deals in seconds rather than minutes and Britain is considered to be a in a 'reactionary international' group of nations alongside the USA, Brazil, India, Egypt, Israel and Hungary.

World-leading.

It's occurs to me that one way of preventing arrested criminals accessing hidden weapons or "losing" them behind seats in a cop car, is to invent handcuffs that incorporate stiff canvass-like material over the hands like an inflexible mitten. Something like that would have saved that murdered copper's life

I'm sure I saw this Chomsky guy walking down Oxford Street with "The End in Nye" written on his sandwich boards

Not surprised at all
Out of interest, who are the posters on here you're referring to as Boris's fan boys?
mmm unlike the 70s union loving Labour fans.
For me I would be concerned that according to this poll they are only 2 points ahead. <doh> According to some this is the worst ever Tory government ever and Labour are a massive 2 points ahead? I think us mop heads know the maths and they will need a lot more than 2 points to win power. Anyway enough of Year 6 politics there is an important vote happening in Switzaland today.

I think the Conservatives would be best to get well rid of ‘mop head’ before he leads them to a crushing defeat......it’s looking more likely with every **** up and every u-turn

As Ellers reminds us approximately 38 times a week, Johnson is an excellent campaigner (I’m not entirely sure how but absolute ****ing mugs love the Etonian Latin mumble thing he does and there are millions of them). The bloke was never meant to last and the sob stories softening people up for his departure have already started, meaning he can take the blame for the disasters of Covid and Brexit with him for the would-be awful campaigner but kind-of-elected Gove to take the helm*

*Unelected bureaucrat Cummings still in de facto charge.

You see Watford knows exactly how this thing works (sometimes). Out here in leafy Berkshire, I haven't heard one of my Tory acquaintances moan about Boris or the Tories. Even if some think that he has had a mare, they would never vote Labour and The Woodentops. When it comes the silent majority will come out in their hordes to vote and stop Starmergeddon. By then we will all see how cr2p Starmer is.
Anyway, keep dreaming for your revolution.

I’ve never doubted the country is full of turkeys queuing up to vote for Christmas.

I see Farage is threatening a new party.....the anti-lockdown party :emoticon-0102-bigsm
Hes quoted 'This is authoritarian – I don't believe his promises on testing or the competence of the government. We didn't vote for this.'
