Yes. Not sure that’s relevant to this partial quote but let’s see how this goes.

I just find it amazing that anyone, but particularly a Jewish person, is calling for someone to be dragged out onto the streets and kicked to death. I suppose it must be the "we had it done to us, so we'd like to see it done to someone else" syndrome

That’s a dumb supposition then.

Yeah, I've hit a nerve then. Just go on calling for people to be dragged into the street and kicked to death, like the National Socialists did about Jewish financiers. Col was absolutely right about you. You have the intellect of a two year old.

You really shouldn't take everything posted on here so literally, Goldie.

G
erman cars!!

The incredible Withdrawal Agreement which Boris masterminded and Duncan Smith voted for. Almost like they and the rest of vote.leave don't have a clue and never have.

Don't worry, I'm sure it's all the fault of [remain/Labour/immigrants/the EU] and nothing to do with Brexit being unworkable from the outset, despite all the hot air from the Brexshiteers.

It's just such a ****ing stupid, even dangerous, thing to say, Strolls, when a politician has been murdered recently. I would call someone out if they said it about a politician from any party.

"Dianne Abbott deserves to be dragged into the streets and kicked to death." How does that sound to you?

Not sure it’s me who’s had a nerve hit from that little episode of a post.

If you actually go back and read the post again you’ll probably feel a bit silly. It’s telling that a nothing post on a football forum irks you infinitely more than the suffering Duncan-Smith and his ilk have inflicted on this country with their laziness and arrogance to not just not scrutinise the WA but to actually go out of their way to make it impossible for others to do so properly. Not to mention the rest of his long career of inflicting unnecessary hardship on some of the most unfortunate in society. I’d have thought as an ardent Brexiteer you’d be a bit embarrassed and sheepish over his tweets today. Presumably not.

A large blast has hit the Lebanese capital, Beirut, ahead of the verdict in a trial over the killing of ex-PM Rafik Hariri in 2005.

Reports say the explosion was in the port area of the city, with unconfirmed reports of a second blast. It is not clear what caused them.

Video posted online showed a large mushroom cloud and extensive damage.

A UN tribunal is due to issue its verdict in the trial of four suspects in the murder by car bomb of Hariri.

All four are members of the Iranian-backed Hezbollah group, which has consistently denied any role in Hariri's death. They are being tried in absentia and the verdict is due on Friday.

The possible second explosion was reported to be at the Hariri residence in the city.

Lebanon's health minister, Hamad Hasan, has spoken of many injuries and extensive damage.

Local media showed people trapped beneath rubble. A witness described the first explosion as deafening.

The latest reports come amid political tension in Lebanon, with street demonstrations against the government's handling the worst economic crisis since the 1975-1990 civil war.
