Retired black officer David Dorn killed by looters in St. Louis, police say
David Dorn, a retired black police captain in St. Louis, died during widespread unrest on Tuesday.

Dorn, 77, was "murdered last night by a looter," while guarding a pawn shop, city officials told reporters, adding that surveillance tools would be used to identify the criminals.

St. Louis' "Ethical Society of Police," founded in 1972 by black officers to address corruption and racial discrimination, mourned the captain's loss.

"He was the type of brother that would’ve given his life to save them if he had to. Violence is not the answer, whether it’s a citizen or officer. RIP Captain!" the organization tweeted.

I saw the video........shocking

I’m surprised no one is talking about Barry Gardiner? Blimey after all the cr2p with Cummings he blatantly broke the rules and didn’t care? Where is all the ‘moral brigade’now?

Madeleine McCann back in the news and it's horrific if true or is it just something to chuck into mainstream news to distract from handling of the pandemic and Brexit? dark things happening on the Brexit front I suspect.

Probably something to do with him not making the rules, knowingly carrying the virus around the country or being someone hardly anyone knows of, just as it was a a week ago when you did exactly the same thing with some other nobody and cried about equivalence you tart.

After watching the **** that went on yesterday with the baying mob attacking police at will.....even after the silly ****s had ‘taken the knee’, I realise what a load of **** the so called ‘protest’ was......and yes, a lot of the violence was orchestrated by whites as well as blacks......
If it was football fans they would of been looking at time already

RIP David Dorn.......can’t see the ****ers saying your life mattered.

So it’s okay for an MP to do this when he Condones Cummings (four times on record). No wonder Sharma is sick! Your morale compass is all over the place as usual.

Totally agree Staines. I saw 2 or 3 punch a police woman who got injured. Disgusting.

I didn’t say it was ok. If he had a senior position I’d expect him to resign from It.

I’m saying why it’s not a big story as much as you wish to make a song and dance over it just as it wasn’t a huge story when Jenrick in the actual cabinet broke the rules.

Sharma, if Covid-positive, was forced into a confined space with possibly hundreds of MPs but you’ve been oddly quiet about that far bigger story.

Do you not believe that the protests ae justified?

Who said it was a big story? I just like to see consistency. You just prove my point. Cheers. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Your initial post. Go back and read it.
There is consistency though given Jenrick in a far more senior role, didn’t resign. What do you want to happen to Gardiner?

No straight answer to that one Strolls.....If the point of the so called protest was used as an excuse to attack the OB for something that happened in a country miles away then no.

Going to bed now so if I don’t answer then fear not, I’m still alive

Many peaceful protests get highjacked by a minority intent on wreaking havoc (or attacking OB), but I don't think this minority should be allowed to detract from the point of the original protest.

What did Gardiner do? Did he drive a Covid-filled car the length of the country?
Okay let’s look at this: Cummings had no contact with anyone and was not a risk (as for Covid...was it confirmed?) whereas Gardiner was mingling with 1000s of protesters without social distancing. If it turns out that Sharma has it and we know Gardiner was in the House... That is irresponsible, agree?
Personally I think they are both idiots for what they did but you can't have one rule for one and not the other... Unless he was testing his eyesight.

There is absolutely no equivalence between Cummings and Gardiner and you know it. Gardiner getting within two metres of one or two people in a crowd (he couldn't really mingle with all of them now could he?) is of no consequence whatsoever. That happens to me every time I go to the supermarket.

Making MPs return to HoC, now that was irresponsible.

mmm I believe there is a video of him in a crowd of people that doesn't show it as 2m?
