I wouldn’t argue with you that liberal softness has crept into all points on the political spectrum. The Conservative Party has trended towards the centre, particularly from Major onwards and especially with that prick Cameron. I haven’t.

(General Elections have become a vote for the least worse)

Blair claimed his government would be tough on crime, tough on the causes of crime. This has never happened under any political livery.

It’s a long time since we can accuse a Tory government of not being right wing enough. It’s easy to pump out xenophobia to attract would-be Farageists. It’s more difficult to make sustained cuts to the justice system and pretend you give a **** when one slips through the cracks like this.

This attack has nothing at all to do with the sustained cuts to policing and the justice system under the Tories. It was plainly inspired and encouraged by Jeremy Corbyn.

So your Labour politicians give a ****, but Conservative ones don’t?

Sadly we now live in a society where people who do wrong are not allowed to be punished. The victims are the ones at fault.

Never forget listening to Mike Dicking on TalkSport where he said... if a woman is raped she has 2 organisations for support whereas the rapist has 11.

This is what our society has become because of those looney PC yoghurt knitters. They defend criminals too much and the criminals take full advantage of it.

Hopefully once we are away from that stupid ECJ, we will get some tough laws in place, laws that will protect honest people more and laws that will keep these violent criminals locked up.

Well yes, I was going to come to that. All the interventions in Muslim countries (undertaken by governments of all colours, not just Blair) were opposed by Corbyn.

But blame him anyway,

Problem is he is opposed to all intervention and we know that many innocent Muslims were saved from genocide in Kosovo. Corbyn was utterly against that intervention

I was listening to Radio 4’s “PM” show yesterday evening in which Evan Almighty was interviewing some former counter terrorism expert on his views following yesterday’s outrage.

Wheb asked about general threat levels in this country the chap said they’d increased because of all the people returning from fighting in Syria.

Davies simply said,”thank you, we’ll leave it there”.

I mean: WTF?

Yes, this is a failing right across the political divide. The ever creeping liberal mindset is a plague on our society.

If not wanting to let in single Muslim men in their 20s or 30s into this country without proper vetting is xenophobic then cuff me now and take me away.

You really would enjoy The Secret Barrister. I’ll get it for you for Winterval.

It starts with the young as well.
In schools you can do what you want and they are not allowed to punish you! where you are not allowed to lose. Do you ever see those programs set in schools where certain kids misbehave and they cover them with cotton wool. They can smash up a class room and allowed back in after they have had a quiet break! WTF!
This mentality sets in as they are allowed to do what they want. They take this into later life and thats where the real problems start.
As for the school policy of not being allowed to lose.... just think of the referendum result? Remember what a well known poster said on here that the majority of remainers are young. Says it all.
All these things have knock on effects.

And before anyone asks... yes it was a bloody Labour government that brought in all these school rules.

A stopped clock is correct twice a day. Since Corbyn opposes ALL intervention, he'll be rights sometimes. I notice you've ignored Kosovo where many innocent people would have been butchered if Corbyn's policy had been followed

You can turn that on it's head though, can't you? Most interventions are counter-productive (Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya) but every so often one is worthwhile, such as Kosovo. Corbyn has been right more than he has been wrong.

Surely the stopped clock in this scenario is anyone in favour of all the interventions.
