Is it all about 'winning' for you? So you can lord it over others? It certainly comes across like that
Well it's not about losing is it! <doh>
Once again take a look back at what you and others have posted and all I am doing is waiting for the time to reply.... Which will be on the 13th.

The point being is do you honestly think that if Johnson leaves with the deal that he came up with (pretty much accepted worse than Mays) or something similar the 'win' will be worth it? You'd be happy with the result? I think there are a lot out there that wouldn't.

Indeed. It’s not a football match where you’ll take a scrappy 1-0 and move on to next Saturday. People are literally prioritising some misguided hatred of the EU which has done precisely **** all to affect them negatively over the welfare of our society.

I am talking about winning the Election. Brexit is something else.
I have my own reservations with Boris and some Tory MPs but even the worse ones are 1000 times better than having a Corbyn government.
I think when it comes down to it people will know who they will want as PM. The Tories will win then the Brexit fun begins again. Although if Boris wins he will have the numbers.

Whilst we differ in our opinions, that is a fair enough comment. :emoticon-0148-yes:

You couldn't make it up.
The Labour shadow education secretary has just been speaking and couldn't even say the word 'circumstances'. she had 2 attempts, then mumbled through. <doh>

During the US election, Trump said that he could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and his supporters would still vote for him. It's similar with Johnson - the people who support him do so despite that fact that he is a lying, cheating, racist, homophobic drunkard. It beggars belief.
I think it might have something to do with not letting a marxist, terrorist loving, jew hating, unelectable muppet become PM.

Although the Tories are no angels, they are better equipped to run the country. Labour are a mess, a rabble of idiots. Take Diane Abbott... would you trust her with the countries money or Corbyn with the military or economy. Emily Thornberry after her famous QT comments? <doh> All the anti-semitism in the party and dithering on Brexit.
The fact that all Labour are banging on about now on TV is "If you vote for Boris you will get Donald Trump".<laugh>
Their campaign is 2222.
Only today they have moved on the date of their manifesto because the last one didn't add up. They are now saying 10 days! One source said "we won't make a decision until the last minute"? WTF!
Sorry Watford but they are not fit to run our country. This is not Blair and Labour but some weird Marxist rabble.

He is not shadow Education secretary. TBH Boris was a massive high achiever at school and university so I wouldn't knock his education. That woman today sounded like a chav and is clearly not on the same level.

Oh so an accent is a sign of intelligence, interesting..... Thought Boris got a second no? With all the advantages given to him, I'd hardly call that a massive high achiever, same level of degree as the much maligned Diane Abbott, however unlike Johnson, Abbott came from a working class family and not subject to the best levels of education in her formative years.

A calm, logical, well-written piece by Anthony Lerman (himself a Jew, and a writer who specialises in the study of antisemitism) on the hysteria being deliberately stoked up by Tories and the right-wing media around anti-Semitism in the Labour party.

I'd be interested in the views of Goldie and Ellers - and indeed Watford, or anybody else.

That’s very interesting. Well worth anyone’s time but you might want to make a coffee and go for a piss first. Explains far more eloquently and patiently my feelings and frustration than I ever could with Jews I know expressing a lazy dislike of Corbyn based on propaganda more than anything and the Tories using this as a tool for their gain.

2.1 in a poncey subject (like me) though I didn’t get into Oxford. Admittedly I didn’t try but then I didn’t get into Nottingham either so it probably wouldn’t have been worth it.

Abbott only got into Cambridge, I won't be surprised to now hear that is far inferior to Oxford
