I’ve not suggested Labour will win the election the cult of Brexit, foreign interference who would like to see a competitive trading block weakened and a media whose mega rich owners will get tax relief have put pay to that.

Your childlike belief in everything Tory is almost endearing, Ellers. It must be nice and cosy in your little world.
That's interesting and also patronising Stroller. Sadly for an expert you really do get a lot wrong. Have a look back over this thread and you have been wrong quite a lot.
As I said I called both Brexit and Trump and I will say that Boris will win the election and comedy Corbyn will be gone soon after.

How many times have I told you it's not over? I haven't been wrong so far.

Labour chiefs mull plan to replace top civil servants with political appointees
EXCLUSIVE: Permanent Secretaries, widely known after Sir Humphry of Yes Minister, would go in favour of political appointees according to the plan being looked at

Jeremy Corbyn is planning to give Whitehall’s Sir Humphreys the order of the boot.
The real-life role of the iconic mandarin in the television hit Yes Minister is to be abolished under plans being considered by Labour chiefs.
The move comes as part of a revolutionary shake-up of Britain’s famously independent Whitehall army of civil servants charged with putting government’s’ policies into effect.
Mr Corbyn and his shadow cabinet colleagues, who would take over as ministers, believe the current service is too steeped in years of austerity, privatisation and right-wing economic thinking to fairly administer Labour’s long-term economic “transformation”.
Instead they want Whitehall departments to be headed by political appointees sympathetic to the government’s aims.
Why should I not vote Conservative? 24 awful policies you can't forget in the 2019 general election

A shadow Cabinet minister said: “For too long the promises political parties make at election time do not come to pass because they get clogged up or frustrated by the machine.
“Governments of all parties have felt this and it is time to find a better way of making sure the promises we make are delivered.”
It follows a similar exercise carried out under the Tory-Lib Dem coalition in 2012 after ministers complained about being frustrated by the slow workings of the government machine. Results of that £50,000 exercise disappeared into Sir Humphrey’s shredder.
Discussions among Labour policy-makers have examined systems in France and the US where the top tier of government administrators is expected to make way for a new team after every election.
They have concentrated on the recently introduced systems in Australia and New Zealand where the equivalent of Sir Humphreys have been replaced by administrators on legal contracts to deliver specific government policies.

British Steel is set to announce a rescue deal with China's Jingye Group, which could safeguard up to 4,000 jobs in the UK.
Jingye Group has agreed in principle to buy British Steel for £70m.
It is understood that the government will help in the form of loan guarantees and other financial support.
British Steel has been kept running by the government since May when the company went into liquidation.
As well as employing 4,000 people at its Scunthorpe and Teesside sites, British Steel supports an additional 20,000 jobs in the supply chain.
It is believed that while Jingye Group has promised to increase production, it has also warned costs may need to be cut.
The Chinese group is [URL='https://www.ft.com/content/5d9981d6-ffd9-11e9-be59-e49b2a136b8d']reportedly
aiming to increase production at Scunthorpe from 2.5 million tonnes per year to more than three million.
Since May, the company has been run at a loss by the Official Receiver - effectively a privately hired government agency.
British Steel's previous owners, Greybull Capital, walked away saying Brexit concerns had decimated forward order books.
Turkish deal
British Steel had been in rescue talks with Ataer, which is a subsidiary of Turkey's state military retirement scheme Oyak.
Ataer had signed a preliminary agreement to buy the company in August.
However, hopes that the deal could be completed faded last month when the Official Receiver to British Steel said the parties had failed to agree terms.
The UK industry has been struggling for a number of years amid claims that China has been flooding the market with cheap steel.
It prompted US President Donald Trump to impose a 25% trade tariff on steel imports from China and the EU among others.
Jingye has 23,500 employees and as well as its main steel and iron making businesses, it is also involved in hotels, tourism and property.
The majority of British Steel's workers are employed at its Scunthorpe plant.

Jingye's chairman Li Ganpo recently visited British Steel's sites and met with Scunthorpe MP Nic Dakin and Andrew Percy, representative for the Brigg and Goole constituency.
Mr Percy told the Grimsby Telegraph he had been given assurances over the company's future.
"They have assured us that if they do progress with this acquisition, they have every intention of investing to expand production to serve the UK and European market," he said.

It's over only the fanatics believe there is still a fight on.
Make sure you post on the 13th I don't want to see any Lord Lucans.

If anyone really fancies the Tories to win big they could make a lot of money given the current odds.

They’ve made a horrible start and you’d like to think even our thick as pig **** electorate and media can’t just keep screaming about Corbyn for another five weeks without some major Tory ****-ups along the way. They’re surely banking on it snowing that day and a bit of Bannon-lite harassment of voters on the day.

We want our Russia back, we want our Russia back! Like I say, this place is full of hypocrites, rotten to the core. Makes me ashamed to be associated with this corrupt country and corrupt Russian influenced government. ****ing national disgrace. But hey vote away and comply with what you are being programmed to do! Very sad days ahead for the UKKR
