Do you think they want it to be a success
I'm sure they would want a deal that is beneficial to everyone. That would logically make sense. The Irish border is the main issue. Wasnt mentioned too much in the build up to the referendum and seems to have been an oversight on many peoples parts.

The Irish don't want a hard border
The UK doesn't want a hard border
Who is going to be insisting on a hard border
Nobody wants a hard border. Except maybe the ERG. The EU came up with a solution agreed with the then government. The ERG including Boris (twice) voted against it. Come up with a different solution then. Boris then suddenly thought it was a good idea and voted for it. Why does he now think it isnt????

Well then
What's the Irish border problem then
Keep calm and carry on
I suppose if things dont affect you or have directly or indirectly affected you or people you know, then ignorance can, to an extent be excused. Most of my family is of irish and Scottish heritage and have major issues with the border issue.

The UK and the Irish haven't had a problem with the border since the Good Friday agreement
Who is causing the problem and asking for border controls possibly causing trouble now
Anything crossing the border into the UK heading for Europe will be checked in France anyway
Do the border checks in calais

Yeah. Let's shift the problem to another EU country - that'll solve something which should have been addressed 3 years ago. How does it work for ordinary folk especially in agriculture going about their business on the island of Ireland?

But not to worry there's a technological solution. Haven't heard too much about that in the last 4 weeks Boris. Boris? It's no good. He left the room I a hurry to get to his next engagement before he could answer. And damn it. He forgot to brief his spokesperson so that s/he could tell us.

What did happen to the technological solution?

Think hes just copy and pasting something over to Boris as we speak

Well you say that in jest -but how about this, to my limited knowledge alone there are varying customs systems within countries such as US, Brazil, Angola to name just 3 off the top of my head.
Hell in the US Gulf region alone there are complete differences between Houston, Corpus Christi, Lake Charles and they are in the same state of Texas!!
Internal movement of goods from Rio to Santos or Maccae for example have crazy different rules.

This really, really is not such a problem - those Brexiteers that are **** scared of some Spaniards getting in illegally will not have to worry as you can still kick them out when you find them. I'm sure we can ask if it is border control or immigration control they want, as there is a big difference.
