No offence mate but your track record of predicting the likeliest scenario isnt the best.Question Time last night. Johnson has cocked up procedures last week and needs to make amends.
Thornberry is the biggest hyprocrite in Westminster and Labour's position on Brexit would be ridiculed in a kindergarten class.
Blackford is like a tape recorder on an eternal loop that doesn't give a damn about anything but Scotland. We need a GE soon to get rid of this dishonourable Remain parliament.
My take on likliest scenario. Corbyn refuses a GE on Monday. Johnson refuses to go the EU for an extension. He resigns as PM. Corbyn takes over as caretaker but cannot get a majority to support him. There is a GE with Boris fighting as the opposition

As for Blackford, I quite like him but then I have strong Scottish roots. Of course he is only bothered about scotland, dont blame him.
I may be mistaken but I think you have said a few times that the EU will deal at the last minute.I won't take offence if you give me evidence of where my prediction track record has failed, Bob

I think they've been on hold since May last tried. Boris has just lied to everyone as perWe haven't reached the last minute yet! After this week, the negotiations are pretty much on hold

Cummings must have something up his sleeve. Johnson's stridency on the issue of requesting an extension makes it plain that he just isn't going to do it, although I did hear a suggestion that he might send the extension request, but then refuse to send a commissioner to the EU. Under EU rules this would lead to our being expelled.
Possible I agree but Blackford should care about Scotland it’s his job imo and I thought his speech in the commons more or less told the world that Scotland will remain in the EU
Take away the Million leave votes from Scotland and you start to get a much clearer picture of the maths
Factor in the Welsh that by all accounts have switched more dramatically to remain in the last three years.
NI we also know has strengthened its remain stance
Factor in also the protest aspect of the leave vote that did have some degree of influence but can’t be fully defined
Factor in again the knowledge of what a no deal Brexit really looks like in 2019
Then of course you have the complete lack of any post Brexit plans and I believe you should get a cocktail and indicator of how this may all go imo.
Of course there will still be a divide if the direct question is allowed to asked in 2019/20 and understandably a lot of pissed off Brexiteers left in what remains of the UK
Times are a changing and the big swing is on imo.
This swing was not seen in the elections to the European Parliament. I suspect a GE will be held in November. This will be a Brexit election. Then we'll have a clearer idea of the electorate's current view
I don't blame Blackford either. His brief is from Scotland and he's a Nationalist. We just have to remember that if decisions are made whereby Scotland thrives and the rest of the UK is in turmoil, that's fine with him.
Good grief, you really are a remoaner ninny, an anti British pro 4th Reich clutch at any straw, never give any proof of all your half arsed theories crap.Possible I agree but Blackford should care about Scotland it’s his job imo and I thought his speech in the commons more or less told the world that Scotland will remain in the EU

A new referendum would give an even clearer view.![]()
The Tories are now ****ed in Scotland. With the departure of Ruth Davidson, an avid Remain campaigner, they now have a big decision to make when a GE is called - do they pledge to fight for Brexit, thus handing the anti-Brexit baton to the SNP, Lib-Dems and Labour and forcing the Nationalists to believe that they have the upper hand in the Independance battle, or fight for Remain in order to keep the Union intact? They currently hold 13 Westminster seats up here, out of 56 - they'll be lucky to get a couple if they stick to the Brexit policy being pursued by Boris. Campaigning on a Brexit with a deal policy won't work either, as no-one can trust Boris not to coerce them into his clusterfuck. Expect the Tories to be cleansed out of Scotland again unless they can get something sorted before Hallowe'en.
