So basically am I right in that you are saying if an MP wants Brexit, he is doing it for career and against Brexit, the MP has principles? <yikes> I think the majority of people know that the House is 80% remain and they are trying to stop Brexit. We can debate all day on this and neither will agree. I don't care if people are Labour/Tory/Limp Dems/leave/remain...the people voted and the result should be respected, it's as simple as that.

No, it isn’t. The people regularly prove themselves to be morons and would vote in the death penalty if given a chance.

Breaking: Boles has quit the local party.
As I have said, the local tories want him gone. They are preparing to select a Brexit candidate and tories have told him to do the decent thing and have a by-election... He did say he quit on 'principles' so let's see if he has the decency to hold a by-election? Probably not.. another TIG MP. Principles my arse.

Great to see him go.

Glad you had the patience to read it. Now care to answer the earlier questions in that final paragraph? Passing the buck to the Remainers and to the EU does not answer the questions now why you are all ready to support May's deal. Was all that guff about there being nothing to worry about because we would simply go onto WTO terms which would be a better option? If not, why the panic by the Brexiteer MPs? Let me answer the question. Lack of balls as previously evidenced by their collective wish that David Cameron and then Theresa May should always remain on the bridge saluting Her Majesty as the independent HMS UK sank.. They've done what they could to set someone up to take the flak and are now running for cover because they've realised what May realised three months ago. I'll split it down into two simple points:

1 Brexit without a deal will be a disaster for this country. That's what matters to her not the possibility that the EU member states may suffer some short-term economic damage.
2 They've got us over a barrel because they knew what they were doing and could rely on the agreements and treaties willingly signed up to by successive UK governments, Tory and Labour over the last 40 years. Your leaders were conned by their own bullshit based on patriotism and nationalism rather than some solid economic analysis into believing that that the EU would collapse without the UK's invaluable financial contributions and embarrassing history of always choosing to say No to veto any proposal at all that they did not like. It hasn't and won't. Tusk had it right when he expressed his frustration and wish for a special place reserved in hell for those who start such a process without having a clear plan how to achieve it.

We cannot go for WTO because each time there's a prospect, Labour, Tig, LibDems and Scots Nats vote for a motion prohibiting it. I never said the EU would collapse with a no deal, but 100,000 redundancies in Germany and 70,000 in Belgium alone were predicted. The EU would not have allowed that to happen without making more concessions on the backstop. WTO would have been a bumpy ride for the UK at first but manageable. A huge part of the electorate were in favour and they don't believe in the Project Fear stuff. If you don't agree, Yorks, lets agree to disagree.

May's deal is not great. But it's a stepping stone. May is someone who negotiates something weak and then shows heroic strength defending it. She needs to go. I'd bring in Raab. This route seems best for me.

John Redwood didn't betray the people so he will be okay. You have that horrid Lee, so you will have to decide whether you want to vote for a lying Tory.
However, If it came to it I would vote for a Brexit Party. It's not here they will win the seats it will be all the Labour leave constituencies who's MP's voted remain.

A lot of them will be deselected, Ellers. Great to see Boles gone today. He won't thrive as an independent. He was always a non-entity.

I always try to come back with something but usual I have a few that gang up on me and it becomes silly.
Like the other day when discuss Corbyn... both Goldie and I went away and posted some great stuff that showed he has a problem with Jews. I actually looked up an academic paper who cited some valid points, only for you to say... wait for it "We shall have to agree to disagree" (to Goldie) and mine was "it proves nothing". so what can I do? You offer nothing in return.
so when you say...

It does make you look a bit silly doesn't it?
As for "cyber bully"? I come on here to have a bit of fun with fellow QPR fans. I don't have to keep saying things like

mmm bit of an own goal really.

Well I still do not believe Corbyn has a problem with the Jewish people. He has a problem maybe with Israel but shouldn’t he ... after all he is in the world majority there if you really looked into it

You should of tried harder at school Staines
Still never too late and you have more than any degree imo doing what you do now

To be honest Paul, I sometimes wish I did study harder at school and further education but money was the big lure at the time.....i earnt a good living and over the years probably earnt more than if I’d studied for a bullshit degree.
Now at 50 it’s back to learning again..medication and ECG’s.....can’t say I’m enjoying it but who knows....maybe I’ll try to get further on if I feel like it.

Start adding up those forecasts plus add to them what the U.K. is set to lose anyone with any sense can see today that No deal is in fact being a traitor to the country ... the source of my passion anyway plus I have an out set up.

So posting on here that we leave with no deal etc is imo disgraceful and selfish

Project fear was after all real

If it looked even that we were facing a no deal then 100% sure as I have been that we would revoke article 50 ... some of us knew this directly after the result . Today even Ellers agrees at last albeit only in the last few weeks

Brexit could well be stopped so don’t be surprised if that happens and if it did it will never come back

Business is still primed to be in the best place it can be and if we leave come June now they won’t be far behind so heavens knows what the job losses could be
