I suppose I'm not surprised, but that's Mad Anna's interpretation. Tusk's comments were addressed at anyone who "promoted Brexit". That's very wide and includes, for example, anyone on this board who argued for Brexit. May even apply to all Brexit voters. BBC think it was a planned attack by Tusk. How creating bad relations will help if we go into a no-deal, I have no idea, but there will be many, many Brits who will be all the more adamant that Tusk should have no power over their lives.
Some really annoyed people phoning in. Public opinion has changed and more and more want to leave.
Funnily, as was said, he didn't just insult Brexitiers but remainers as well. Stupid comments before May goes there to sort something. I know what I would do if I was in Mays shoes. :1980_boogie_down:

Yeah ****in hide

Funny cos Ellers is doing the exact same thing!
Although Goldy does answer when questioned and very well in my opinion. Ellers just hides under his covers listening to the wireless and reading the Sun.
I thought you were going?

If Anna Soubry told you your arse was on fire you wouldn’t believe it would you Goldie, even if you were feeling unusually toasty.

Ok but what powers does he have over British lives?

He's one of a few that materially direct EU policy. EU laws affect many elements of our life. We also pay in large amounts (circa £8-9bn) into the EU. Tusk will be one of those who decides how it is spent - much in Eastern Europe. He was president of Poland.

I'm not saying Tusk has conferred a curse on all Brexiteers to send them to hell. Just that clearly, he'd like to send us all there...

Well spending our money is a pretty big power Bob. There's a huge amount of extravagance in the EU.The usual specific law stuff quoted is on some tax laws like VAT rates, fisheries policy etc. As the EU becomes increasingly federal, so Tusk and his associates will have increased power.

If I said to you, there's a bloke outside your house who wants you to go to hell, and by the way, he has huge power - even if not yet fully exercised - over your life and money ...are you going to say, fair enough...?

I can imagine masturbation while listening to ABBA?

That's the spirit! And that's what most Brexit voters want to do to Tusk tonight...

I really think it is 'game over' Goldie. The look of resignation on Tusks face said so much. I am agreeing with Farage who says the EU are 'splintering and the are worried because of a Eurozone is heading for recession'. The EU have been very demening to the UK. A country that has contributed £100BN to their project and they treat us like that? Let's see how these 27 manage when this "little island' leaves?
