Thoughts to the 10,000 people trapped at Gatwick and elsewhere because of the actions of the twat(s) obviously flying drones in the area specifically to cause chaos.

I’m not sure why the drones simply haven’t been shot out of the sky. Surely this is one of the most predictable events around, no preparation seems to have been made. And with copycat idiots around it’s bound to happen again. As we know drones are a key part of advanced warfare now we must have the technology to take them out. If not, there’s a business start up for you.

Apparently the maximum punishment (regardless of motivation, and this could conceivably be an act of terrorism) is 5 years in prison. Insufficient for me, given the disruption, emotional upset, and enormous cost resulting from this spectacularly stupid and selfish act.

Meanwhile Corbyn and Bercow between them achieve the seemingly impossible feat of uniting the Conservative Party albeit in faux, stage managed, outrage. Bravo.

Honestly this is nanny state gone nuts
The tech is everywhere to locate the flying frequencies of simple remote drones
Seriously Gatwick hasn’t got this ?
Worrying times as I am sure most could understand the potential risk these drones can do especially on take off.

Must be more about this story imo

The Soviet era/Iron curtain/Communism was so popular it failed and everyone couldn’t wait to get away from it.
I worked with a chap many years ago who knew an artist back in the soviet days. He was arrested and thrown in jail where he died. All over some poetry and writings that the state deemed different to their views.
That is the sort of society that Comrade Corbyn wants. We have seen what he thinks of Jews and women, what next?

Was his name Rudolf Abel

I worked with 6 Russian teachers about 15 years ago and also have several Russian friends at my chess club, not one of them has anything good to say about the 'Soviet era' of which the 'Useful Idiot' is such an admirer. Not a pleasent era by any means. Hard to imagine any sane person finding that worth defending...
You're a chess player. This has become my recent addiction. Do you play on line? What's your rating?

Britain in 2018 observations:

The wife volunteers at Citizens Advice when she’s between jobs. Two years ago a fair number of ‘clients’ were EU workers in low paid jobs who hadn’t been paid and non EU migrants with housing problems. Apparently now there are virtually none of these and most of the people going in are Brits with debt problems needing help, with debt restructuring and food vouchers, or dealing with family break ups. Anecdotal, but apparently anecdotes are taken as fact on here.

Over 50s! Apparently we have 80% of the wealth in the country (actually it’s probably only a few of us who have it). Reflect on that while watching TV adverts and note how few of them are aimed at you. Good isn’t it? Until you realise that the aim is to get younger people to nag you to buy this **** for them, or for the younger people to rack up some credit card debt to buy it themselves.

Debt is a very important part of the system of control.

One big bloody shop and we are addicted to it imo

Sad to reflect on SB’s post re the CAB can only add that from a marketing point of view the UK population is targeted heavily around pay day

With UC being rolled in already I have seen marketing data targeting these people also all with the evil intent to get people to spend money they haven’t got

And DT is probably creating some of those adverts to fuel the crisis...;)

Nope don’t do much TV nowadays mostly online in between youtube clips. Plus haven’t worked since August 17th anyway as having downtime as had to have a few operations on eyes

Last did the More Than Drama No Drama idents on ITV
Massive spend with very little success imo
Irreversible world now especially in insurance products as customer loyalty a thing of the past ... it’s all about aggregator parasites and new customers only

I also have found that been doing a lot of internal promos for corporate... the world within the world
In short corporate brainwashing their own staff
Plus loads of Brexit prep as said on here before ... it’s been the main big earner for the last few years with hundreds of companies contracted to us provisionally changing HQ addresses on all their printed stock

Horrible world run on anixeity and fear in the UK on a backdrop of self obsession imo

100,000 now have had a **** day because of the ****er(s) at Gatwick.

Here’s an idea. When he (it’s going to be a man obviously) or they are caught, just hand them over to the 100,000.

I've been out and about taking pictures of Gatwick Airport today ...

My ECF grade was in the 120's when I played League matches but I haven't played competitively for about 5 years now due to my 4.30am starts at work. Mostly play on computer now as after a while you can suss out the programme's weaknesses. Also played on the Red Hot Pawn site...
