The sight of Junckers with his arm around Theresa's shoulder while Barnier kissed her hand, and Theresa dissolving into sighs and coos was truly sickening!
May won't get this dogshite deal through Parliament, and then, surely, the Tories will get shot of her and put in someone who has leaving the EU at heart and shows backbone in negotiations for a managed transition to WTO terms.

For 2+ years we have been debating on this issue and the thing that really gets me is time after time the EU has proved it cannot or will not adapt and people still support them? After listening to the former Greek minister should have sent shivers down peoples spines, yet people didn't even want to discuss it?
From now on it will be 'Spin City" at number 10.

The sooner this Parliamentary vote takes place the better, so May goes and the Tories bring in a (probably a temporary) leader to take us beyond next March. If we head for WTO, it would not surprise me if the EU don't think again about the indefinite backstop, and if they do, Chequers might possibly be on the table again, but not if the backstop remains.
May has lied and lied about Brexit. The Tories have betrayed their manifesto over Brexit. As I said a few months ago, the ruling elite have managed to completely fudge the issue and betray the wishes of 17.4 million people who voted to leave.

Yes, I can see the Leave voters don't like this ***** fudge, but it also manages at the same time to "betray" the 16.8 million who voted Remain. We can both hope Parliament votes it down, but my hope is that then eventually one way or the other, we end up staying in the EU, or at worst the Single Market.

My take for what ut is worth is that TM deal gets rejected. The vote goes in and she quits. The tories get a Brexit leader... We then go to the EU and ask for a six month/ year extension while we sort things out. They will agree as it's 'No deal' if they don't. We then look at a free trade deal and get Ireland to start (as we are their biggest trade partners) to work with us to come up with something re the border as it's in their interest. And we leave... however on the way out we say to that stupid minority PM of Spain to worry about Catalonia,
May has managed to come up with something that absolutely nobody seems to like, which is quite a feat of incompetence. I'm somewhat torn, though, about how I hope the vote goes in parliament. Much as I'd like to see the back of May, someone like Raab as PM could be an absolute disaster, potentially ending with No Deal (something that Farage said this morning he actively wants to see). ****s like Farage, Raab, Johnson, Rees-Mogg etc.would happily see years of UK recession just to satisfy their ideological fantasies. A Norway deal is still on the table, she should go for that when parliament rejects hers.

1. Raab won't be PM. It would be someone like Sajid Javid or Davis until they sort Brexit.
2. As for a 'No deal' we don't actually know what that means and I personally think that all involved would sort out something. The EU may say "the lids closed on the box and that's it" but when they have to explain a no deal scenario to the individual countries that will change.
3. Norway...I have thought about this and it's much better than Mays deal however although I don't have a problem with movement...and as you have stated on many occasions the majority of leave voters wanted control, sadly that won't work.
Macron now threatening that France will ensure that the UK remains in the backstop indefinitely unless it gives French trawlers access to British waters. Spain will do something similar re Gibraltar. This is why any MP voting for May's deal would be in breach of their duty to act in the country's interests.
Yes, May seems to agree that the vote was all about immigration and is promoting her deal predominately on the basis that it will end free movement (or stop EU queue-jumpers as she offensively describes it). I'm not sure how they can stop a would-be queue-jumper travelling to the Republic of Ireland, and crossing a non-border into the North before moving to the mainland, though.
If MPs were to act in the country's best interests, they would scrap Brexit altogether, Goldie.
I wouldn't worry about Macron as he will be gone at the next election. The French hate him. His popularity is lower than Le Pen.
Lord Lilley is ripping into May's deal on Sky. He said that we won't be able to do deals with other countries under her plan. He stopped short of calling her a Liar.

With every passing day it becomes more and more clear to me that I was absolutely correct in voting to leave and get away from these vindictive pygmies.
Unfortunately, our own, lying, treacherous pygmies are ensuring that Brexit won't happen as I knew they would.
Agree the 'enemy within' has played a big part in this. However, I still think there is a very good chance of a free trade (Canada type) deal or maybe 'Norway'. What is certain Col, is that every man and his dog hates this deal and it won't get passed.
Yet there are still some diehard Remainers saying we should apologise to the EU, beg to be taken back and accept whatever poor terms are given us (which will include a punishment sum for wasting EU time, to serve as a lesson to others). Beggars belief.
Norway won't cut it because we don't lose freedom of movement. Canada plus might but there is still the issue of Ireland. WTO would focus minds and I'm betting a workable solution can be found. ERG need to persuade the country on this
