Anyway, I see there have been more murders in London than New York so far this year.

Yes, another feather in the cap of Sadiq Khanage, whilst he spends most of his time posting selfies on Twitter and entertaining the Cycle Lobby his city descends into lawlessness with Gang warfare, acid attacks at record levels, scooter morons robbing at will and traffic at a virtual standstill throughout the centre of the city. Didn't he do well?...

He will if he gets a large proportion of people travelling in London to use their own bicycles, pick up/ drop off bicycles, or taxi bicycles.

Their crimes were committed in a foreign land and they are now subject to the laws of that land. They are officially no longer British citizens.
If they are guilty they will get the appropriate justice according to those laws. I'm sure if one of your family was executed by them you might not be so benevolent towards them...

The reason we have a legal system is so this kind of emotional response is taken out of the equation.

What you seem to be suggesting is that were it to happen to me I would harbour a desire for revenge... but even if I did, so what?

An 'eye for an eye' is breakdown of our civilised rule of law. In short, we stoop to their level... and as I said before, what does that then make us?

A further factor lies in what this actually achieves? There is plenty of evidence to suggest that closure for the families of murder victims is not any more likely when the perpetrator gets the death penalty over a jail term.

Nothing to do with government cuts to police funding?

Whatever is said about sadiq it is a very naive or stupid person who blames him for crime level statistics in the capital. Take a look at society in general first and foremost. Then the level of cuts to the police force. A recipe for disaster!! Oh I know let's just blame one guy!!

I think using the holocaust in any statement or opinion is crass especially from a nation like us that knew it was taking place during WW2 and did nothing

If you get punched then give three back and you won’t go wrong in life imo. Never throw the first one is the key imo ... that’s you chance to take the high ground then

I support the Palestinian struggle in opinion only Anyone who even is sucked in by Israel being the true goodness is naive imo

I know the TV and films are fictional baloney designed (mainly) to entertain, but isn’t it ironic that in most police/spy thrillers we generally love the maverick who steps outside the law, meting out cold hard justice from the barrel of his gun or the end of some sharp sticky thing, yet here in the real world we’re supposed to be all namby-pamby, moral high ground, do it by the book, frilly knickers and natural yoghurt?

I don’t care if dishing out retribution on scum like the ISIS ‘Beatles’ lowers us to their level. It’s high time we had a few more Dirty Harrys, John McClanes and whatever ****e character name Arnie takes in his movies. In fact, I’d go one step further by passing a law that makes it mandatory to say a dispatch-related quip immediately after the baddie meets his doom.

In an Arnie voice: “So, ISIS Beatles....let me grab hold of your head...I’ll twist while you shout!”

To which they reply "Help"...

The establishment (which includes the right wing of the Labour party) are frightened of Corbyn and will seek any reason to vilify him. I don't believe he's a racist, an anti-Semite, or a terrorist - he just has beliefs and attitudes which scare them, because if he became PM he might be a threat to their wealth and power. Goldie has no better knowledge of Corbyn than I do, but he's convinced by the right-wing media. I'm not.
The establishment and the right-wing media don't need to convince anyone. Just watch the last 3 PMQ's that says it all about Comrade Corbyn. He has no chance of winning anything now. Thank god.
