It would be the best thing for labour, in the long term, to get trounced.

It would be better for the UKIP agenda not to stand than to weaken the Tory position in any way.

I'll probably end up voting Lib Dem (despite Stroller's link saying that I should vote Labour).

I'll probably vote Lib Dem too. Sadly, I live in a safe Tory constituency, so it won't make any difference.

they are not substantially Remain down here, 50/50 I'd say and we voted leave here in East Devon and Dorset. Cornwall voted 140,000 remain 180,000 leave. Only Exeter, South Hams and the Isles of Scilly voted Remain

Thanks, I was basing my comment on a throw away line from a political commentator, but in view of what you say, he was wrong. May be the Lib Dems will not have such an easy time to regain their seats where you are. London, I assume, will be fertile ground, as Richmond was for them recently.

I think it will be tactical voting. I'll be backing the Conservatives in this one

It don't matter what I vote.....as I live in John Bercow constituency...it is traditional that none of the main parties stand against him....so I am disenfranchised....unless I vote for this year's version of the monster looney party...
No wonder I'm bitter

Bring it on!
The 'remoaners' have been trying to derail Brexit and people moaning that she has no mandate.
That will all change on June 8th. They were the ones who wanted this so I don't expect them to moan now.
It will be the biggest Tory share of MP's for years.
She will be killing off 'comedy Corbyn" and that wet Liberal leader in one night.

I sell drugs (medicines) work on the market access negotiations side. Agree totally on Berlin, Munich a little twee and antiseptic. But it would have been fine, just the job ultimately wasn't quite right. In Barcelona now for work and have tacked on a couple of days to look around. Highly recommended. Only ever been to the airport in Dubai, have zero interest in it.
Enjoy Gaudi!

I really think Labour will do well to top 100 seats. They are not an effective voice against Brexit in the way the Lib Dems are and I think if their vulnerable seats are targetted added to the Corbyn factor they will be hammered. UKIP may have a chance in some of the northern seats they ran close last time but I think they are a busted flush now.

A shame some sane Labour MPs are not standing this time such as Alan Johnson but happy to see the back of that c*nt Gideon...

Bloody hell they have dug up Nick Clegg! Even less Liberal seats now. The best Tory weapon. All Labour need to do is roll out Blair.
