Well that clinches it for me...... the polls are never wrong....are they ?
Just an indicator. What if it keeps going in the negative direction, though?

Errr........nothing at all to be honest.
What is that supposed to mean? It wasn't Limousin that I saw the house.LImousin?
"They can buy a house up north for 40K................" Come up here and say that! Those days are gone, mate
Nines, You don't know how much that has cheered me up. I spat out my coffee laughing as soon as I saw that. There're plenty of houses for far less than £40k in Grimsby ... http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/find.html?locationIdentifier=REGION^578&sortType=1

What if it’s no longer the “will of the people”?
Well Brexit might still might be the ‘will of the people’ (your words not mine), just not the higher percentage of this opinion poll.....
Would love to know where they are! 40k ha ha"They can buy a house up north for 40K................" Come up here and say that! Those days are gone, mate

I'm just asking if, hypothetically if not in reality (though it probably is), most people were of the opinion Brexit was going terribly and they'd rather not go through with it, should it still happen based on a referendum years earlier?

As for 'Talking to the wrong bloke' I am not. You may well have had 5 houses in France but what does that say, you like moving, you bought the wrong one or you cannot settle? I don't know, only you know that.
I bought a holiday home and I am very happy with it. It does the job, is inexpensive to run and now it has Sky I get to see my team lose in France (twice now).
Sadly I think people can be disrespectful to our country. I sometimes read people knocking this and that about it. For me, it's the best country in the World. I Like Europe but Love England. Good luck to people that live abroad. I have done it twice and can say there is no place like home.
Old saying "if you cannot make it here, you won't make it anywhere else" (or something like that).

France is a massive country and you need a lot of exploring before you settle. I agree plenty of people cannot stick it in France same they may not be able to liven Wales. My partner and I have two houses in London and it's disgusting what they are currently worth. It's not right. We did what we did for a lifestyle change based on 35 years of owning in France (I have had 5 houses there) so you are talking to the wrong bloke. Paris like London are like countries within countries ...thats straightforward when applied to any large city in the world. Yes the French medial system is light years ahead of the NHS. Our NHS is brilliant but not sustainable IMO ... it needs rebuilding. Thankfully my job means i can work anywhere.
A large percentage of Brits buying in France have fallen foul of their own stupidity I agree 100%
Many haven't a clue re the extreme weather etc. I am now living with real people in my community and both my partner and I would in balance live in France full time and visit the UK just to shop ... or watch QPR live.[/QUOT
One problem, its full of English people who want to be French people.you are suggesting that I moved because I didn’t settle or brought the wrong one... brought the first three in partnership in the dordogne but partner died
Having travelled throughout the 4th was in the Languedoc which I loved but sold it during divorce ... current one has own river on land plus 7 beds for the family
Languedoc most sun in Europe and Med lifestyle it’s thst simple really
I rant on about the culture differences I experience because of the history above and the frequency of my lifestyle
Agree not many are equipped to make the change but for me massive comparisons between the two. In the UK I smell debt everywhere and a growing unhappiness
I get a refreshing feeling in France now because the people are simply nicer
I love the countryside of the UK but it can’t match the culture, weather and countryside of France.
Each to their own
I feel I am exactly correct re the decline of UK culture because it’s money driven and lacks a real sense of community.
I would encourage anyone to try it for themselves as the quality of life is more important I believe nowadays and anyone can make that happen in any country but it’s very difficult for me to find that in the UK
