That's funny because my mate and his family are from Gibraltar and doesn't want Spain to be involved with them (sovereignty). I don't know where you got that info from? Maybe they want their cake and eat it as well?
And no border for Northern Ireland. I just know Junckers is going to bring the Falklands into it somehow
Info from your favourite Breitbart. The majority feeling was that they want to stay British and remain in the EU. Perhaps your mate and his family are not representative. Did they vote for Brexit?
Northern Irish residents (and the children of anyone born in the whole island of Ireland) are automatically entitled to an Irish passport if they want one. And a third of the Northern Irish population have taken up the offer.
That figures. I'm surprised it's only a third, I would have thought all the Nationalist would take it up. Perhaps this will be a catalyst for a United Ireland - and done with consent, I'm all for it. Somehow I doubt it though.
Was reading about this the other day. A recent poll had only 3% of Protestants supporting a united Ireland, not very surprising, but also only 27% of Northern Irish Catholics. I suspect the economy would have to be seriously knackered by Brexit to get the numbers in place. But like you, if done by consent, great.
So it would pay for all UK women to have their babys in Ireland. What would have been the benefit of that?
Quite variable depending on the currency you compare it with, but not so bad today/this week. Hopefully the analysts who say the worst scenarios from Brexit are already factored in, and can't see it falling much more re Brexit, are correct.
Poor Karen Millen...Deeply devastated at the thought of losing her £3 million mansion after being declared bankrupt over an unpaid £6 million tax bill (after her involvement in yet another tax avoidance scheme).....my heart bleeds for her.
I wouldn't know. I never ask that sort of question but he was adamant that he was British. As I said Cake/eat it maybe.
