As long as only a few schools fall down it’s fine. And they’re only occupied for like 1/3 of the day and not at weekends so the chances of a roof falling in and killing a class and its teacher is basically zero. Crack on peasants.

Common sense prevails, though I'm sure there's some who'll be frothing at the mouth over this climbdown

The UK is expected to re-join the EU's flagship research scheme, Horizon, with an announcement likely soon.

Talks on the UK becoming a fully-fledged member of the EU's €100bn (£85bn) programme again began after a deal was cut on post-Brexit arrangements for Northern Ireland earlier this year.

According to sources in Brussels, there has been movement in EU-UK talks.

But there is no official confirmation of a finalized deal from either side.

The UK's associate membership of Horizon was agreed in principle as part of the Brexit Trade and Co-operation Agreement, but the issue became bogged down in the dispute about the Northern Ireland Protocol.

We are still not involved in the most important scientific grant and student organisation in Europe. The Erasmus project.

I had 3 wonderful students from that project...2 of whom are senior professors now in Holland and France.

Our group also received millions in funding from the Erasmus program, from that work we described a whole new series of treatable diseases of the nervous system.

All no longer possible.

Thank you Boris
Thank you Brexit
Thank you, May, Truss and Sunak

It's got a + next to it so it must be better

What countries are involved in Erasmus+?

Erasmus+ programme countries include all member states of the EU and certain countries outside the EU, such as Turkey, Norway and Iceland. In addition to these, many other countries around the world can also participate in certain Erasmus+ projects if criteria and conditions are met.
