How dare you say such things about the mighty cox's pippin

 

Cooked apples are great and apple-flavoured things but no one is really telling me an apple is their favourite fruit.

Apples vary hugely in variety, and the dull stuff we get in UK (mostly foreign) is sometimes a year old having been kept in cold storage.

I have number of apple trees here in rural West Sussex. A Cox's Orange Pippin fresh off the tree is a massively more enjoyable experience than the potato-like offering we get in shops.

 

Pretty sure those are regular Russian forces taking up positions to defend buildings from Wagner Group, who are reportedly on their way.

 

I would have thought the fact that Wagner "appears" to care about the lives of his troops may be persuasive for the average Russian conscript who has seen friends shot by Kremlin squads for retreating.

It now looks like Wagner are making their move....can't believe he'll topple Putin but this is going to severly dent the progress of his "special operation" in Ukraine. Be interesting now to see how the Russian military respond to this....talk of the Nationsl Guard refusing to fight against Wagner.

 

Sounds as if Prigozhin may possibly get the support of GRU, Russian military intelligence. That would make things interesting

 

I'd be surprised if that happened, but could absolutely prove pivotal if it does.

 

I asked if this scenario could happen a few months ago on here.

Nobody seemed to think it would.


Cannot see this ending well...( in the short term ...Ukraine should benefit)...in the long term ...instability is not good

As I said, I must have missed it. I was probably arguing with Goldie about him being gullible and believing some made up bollox about a kid at Rye college thinking she was a cat…..or something

 

Wish all we had to worry about was a girl self identifying as a cat

I am more worried about Putin or Prigozhin self identifying as the 5th Horseman of the Apocalypse
