How’s your mate taking it ? Badly I hope

Ellers? I need to text him about Reading. We don’t talk politics off of here but I imagine deep down he knows they’re a mess but if he comments on here it’ll be something about how they’ll be fine when it comes to the next general election, the silent majority will rise up etc.

Yeah, he’ll be posting the usual bollox then.

Aren't all mid election votes a protest vote

To an extent, yes. It feels like a bigger protest vote than most but then the country has been absolutely ravaged by these terrible ****s so that’s to be expected. To get hammered in nice areas and ****holes is quite the result.

It won’t translate totally to a GE. There are still plenty of shy Tories and scared pensioners who come out of the woodwork for those but it’s a positive sign, especially for smaller parties.

Just hearing and reading that all in the Armed/Emergency Services are going to get a coronation medal to mark Charlies incoming and all the Tory ministers fawning over the Armed and Emergency services, and saying how great we all are and that we are all “heroes”

Same Tory ****s who a few months ago were saying we were greedy and putting peoples lives at risk by taking legitimate strike action in want of better pay and conditions.
A Tory will always be a Tory and never miss an opportunity

Give you a fiver for it.

I wonder if the government will ever get back any of the money spaffed out to Baroness Mone and her clan for crap PPE ?
All seems to have gone quiet on that front……funny that. It’s almost as if the robbing ****s want us to forget about it.

That was the plan

I really think so Bob…..it’s a ****ing outrage and people should be rioting on the streets in protest. They’ve robbed the countries wealth to lavish on their rich mates in the most despicable way and we just stand by and let it happen.
I’m truly gobsmacked that any working people could support this bunch of thieves.

It's because it doesn't get the media attention it deserves and those that control the media don't want it mentioned. It absolutely disgusts me, wouldn't matter what political persuasion they are, it's daylight robbery.

There's an action brought by the govt against Medpro. So it's subjudice.

It should be rushed through…..it should be public….it should all be paid back….the robbing ****s should be prosecuted and jailed.
What’s your opinion ? Do you think any of the above will happen ?

High Court actions take time, whatever the issue, often 2 years or more. This is down to the judiciary not govt. The action seems to have been commenced at the end of last year, so there'll be a wait. If it goes to trial, it should be in open court.
